PARIS, June 6:
A majority of French and 51 per cent of Americans are opposed to US President George W. Bush winning another four years in the White House, according to an opinion poll in French Sunday newspaper Journal de Dimanche.
Eighty four per cent of French people questioned hope Bush will lose the US presidential election in November, as do 51 per cent of their US counterparts, according to the Ipsos poll, which described itself as "a comparative study of opinions on either side of the Atlantic". Sixty-eight percent of French said they were "absolutely opposed" to Bush being re-elected, as did 42 per cent of Americans.
The poll found the French and Americans, who in the main hold overwhelmingly opposing views about US invasion and occupation of Iraq, saw themselves as "sometimes faithful allies". This view was held by 64 per cent of French interviewees and 58 per cent of their US counterparts.
It said 45 per cent of French people believed the two nations were "fairly close", as did 38 per cent of US citizens questioned.
Fifty per cent of French people and 42 per cent of Americans said they felt neither sympathy nor antipathy towards each other. AFP

And how many of them will be eligible to vote?
Considering Democrat voting protocols, there might be more than we think.

And this really matters what the French think about what is best for our country?.......And this is as relevant to our survival as a bicycle is to a fish?

Isn't it about that time of year when the French head to the Riviera and bake their old people in their apartments?
To: demlosers
We don't care what the French think. You'd think they'd have gotten that message by now.
They are irrelevant.

The key to achieving the full support of the French is to invade them and set up a puppet government.
