>>>>If it was all planned out ahead of time he would have known exactly what to say.<<<<
What about the fact Scott had researched the directions of tides and currents in the bay? That indicates preplanning and premeditation.

OMG!! There are tons of things he did that show PREmeditation!!. Making anchors, buying the boat secretly, PROPHESYING her disappearance and the fact that THIS would be his FIRST Xmas without her. Secret storage unit, of course all the computer research. And on and on it goes.

What about the fact Scott had researched the directions of tides and currents in the bay? That indicates preplanning and premeditation. That could have indicated pre-planning but by not having a consistent alibi he left himself wide open as the prime suspect. If he planned it ahead of time you'd think that would be the first thing he concerned himself with, but then again everything about this guy appears inconsistent.

Attorney Bernie Grimm, who is one Greta's regulars seems to change his opinion with the direction of the wind. Suddenly he is siding with the prosecutors and others on the panel as to the time line.
Pirro questioned whether the tears shed were genuine or theater reminding us that the last time we heard Scott cried was on 12/9 when he told Amber that he lost his wife, proving he can cry on demand.
Alred said jurors took notes when hearing that Scott was only one who didn't question detective during that chaotic time when family arrived.
The fact that a neighbor said she heard barking dogs at 10:38 (and one may have been Mackenzie) may throw off the time line a bit but as other neighbors are questioned, more will unfold. Up next is Donna Brazile and I prefer to change channels.

Yesterday there was a story the boat wasn't bought secretly by Peterson, they both knew about it at the time. There are a few other inconsistencies coming out now as well from what we first heard.
It doesn't really take away from his guilt if it wasn't premeditated, the only difference is it could spare him the death penalty if that's what the jurors conclude.

I am really so disqusted this trial is not on TV..A whole lotta Q & A's we surely not hearing about....I think by the time proscution done laying their bricks there will not be 1 little crack for Scott to squeeze through

I think this case and her murder was all about money Thanks for the pings RB I think this case is all about attention. When Snot was a "big catch" by Laci, he was the superstar of the family and kept that attention until the baby was conceived. Then Connor got all the attention by everyone and freeloader Snot no longer could hold his own based on reputation, and he started his affair with Amber to become that special "catch" once again, and he was ! Pretending to be so in love with Laci was all BS and when she found out about his affair, the hatred that had been building up all this time within him overtook his emotions and poor Laci was a goner when she went to bed, he was twice her size and could easilly have choked or suffocated her, and there would be no murder weaopon, only those hands that he said he cut in his truck while going golfing. I sure hope the MP did its job finding out how Snot got all his money. Did he ever sell any fertilizer or just spread it in the form of BS ?

Now that's something I have not heard yet! Along with the "I was hoping for infertility" comment, and the comments made to Amber about not wanting to have children, wanting a vasectomy, will be enough to show the jury he was not wanting Connor.

I saw on Greta last night that the Pros. pointed out that he cried on his second visit to her house...he was accompanied by his Defense investigator. The Pros. left the impression that these tears were staged, much like the tears that he shed with Amber when he spoke to her in early Dec. about "loosing" his wife.

kind of been busy with work stuff, and limited on computer time this week.
Off for a day of fun on the boat Sat... Maybe the Delta (San Joaquin, deep channel water), maybe Lake Don Pedro, or Turlock. Trying to get hubby to go to Don Pedro. Different, I hope! anyhow, I'll be checking in later today on/off........ ;o)

Have fun bear! I'm hoping to go out boating with a friend coming up soon. Lots of rain here, waiting for a sunny weekend...
I'm still going thru this weeks events, finding allot of little things interesting.
I'm hoping to have a little time this weekend to share opinions.

Morning JO
I wonder why he didn't show sorrow and painful tears in front of the Rocha's who were looking toward him for some sense of shared pain -there's a comfort in that.
On one hand, I wonder why laci didn't confide in someone in her family. On the other, maybe she sensed that there were strained relations already there and confessing how terrible her hubby was would be more divisive.Still, the Rocha's liked him thanks to silent Laci. He must have told laci that he wasn't interested in the baby. For Laci to confess this to her Yoga instructor, the situation must have become unbearable. Thinking about this too, Geragos stated that Scott never missed an OB visit with Laci.

I agree. That trial should have been on TV. Was it because of concerns for the sleazy stunts Geragos might pull if he were in front of cameras that it isn't?
As for Laci's step-father going fishing at the same time, his situation is totally different:
*He is much more into fishing than Scott and went to a nearby spot.
*His domestic situation is different. He didn't have a pregnant wife who might go into labor anytime.
*He didn't lie about it by saying he went golfing.
