Something along the lines of, after he was shot, he took the fact that he survived as a responsibility; not a mandate. I sucked in a breath at that. It really was a direct swipe at President Bush.

I took it as a shot, too. Both at Michael and W. I turned the sound off and walked out of the room.

Have any of the 'former' Presidents gone before the casket yet?

The only person, other than family and friends, to attend both the services in Washington and California was Lady Thatcher. President Bush is in Texas (He left on AF1 about 1/2 an hour before SAM 28000 left for California) to celebrate his Dad's birthday and Ford, Clinton, and Carter are where ever they went. None attended since this service was more for the family than for the nation.

I thought Chris Wallace got choked up at one point. He traveled with one or both Reagan campaigns and I think he genuinely admired the man.

The man that wrote this hymn used to work on slave trading ships in England. Survived a terrible storm at sea on one of those boats. Shortly thereafter renounced what he did for a living and wrote AG.

Bowing represents humility. You elevate, honour, and respect the other person by humbling yourself or lowering yourself. The lower you bow, the more you are honouring or respecting the other party.

I thought Chris handled the coverage very well.

He did not talk much once the ceremony (the real stuff, not the pre-musical stuff) began.
