"President Reagan symbolized to me what America represented — hope, opportunity, freedom. He made us remember that the United States stood for something great and noble. Once again, it was alright to stand tall and believe in this country, and in ourselves."

Beautiful. Thanks for posting it.

Well done governor Arnie! Many think he embodies some of the optimistic features of President Reagan.

Yes, I'll remember all these fine words as me and my neighbors in the Sierra-Nevada range have to begin dealing with the new Socialistic Suffocation of our property rights and values with his mindless support of a Sierra-Nevada Conservacancy!!!

I am not bashing him, I'm desperately puzzled how this man can call himself a proud American and do this disgusting thing to his fellow Californians! What the hell is the matter with the man? Why does he have this blind spot? It's insane!!!

I sincerely wish you strong supporters would politely, but strongly ask him to re-think this dastardly deed before our deeds become worthless and further restricted in a Socialist's Paradise. I'm not trying to insult, I'm pleading for help!!!

I am ALWAYS stirred by the rendition of Battle Hymn of the Republic, as arranged by Peter Wilhousky and recorded beautifully by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on their "The Sound of Glory" CD. This was also played and sung in today's service. Truly fitting for the Reagan service!

My fellow Freepers in California - Please keep us posted on Arnold's progress. From a distance, I can say that it looks like he's doing a swell job.

I noticed that he was sitting directly behind Nancy at the funeral service at the library. This ain't by accident. I don't think we've heard the last of the Governor.

Was noticing yesterday how Arnold walks. Does he have arthritis or has he always walked like The Terminator?
