The more and more I watch W43... I can see how he has so much more of the Reagan philosophy in the way he leads. It is obvious that Reagan was a great influence on him. More so than his father w41. I just keeping up hope and prayer that W43 can provide half the leadership that Reagan did.

I went to, and the negativity was astounding.
They truly want America to fail, so they can win. My favorite was the "question" Tell us how the high gas prices have affected you?
They are encouraging failure stories to pump up their campaign.

I was hoping Bush would mention that it was Ronald Reagan himself who started the tradition of Saturday radio broadcasts by the President.
A way of talking directly with the American people. Reagan did it very well, and it makes want to hear some of those again.
Before Reagan ran for President in 1976 and 1980, he was doing little vignettes like this nightly on radio. On WMT in Cedar Rapids, I listened whenever I could.
After Goldwater lost in 1964, the natural heir of his libertarian, anti-Communist movement was Ronald Reagan. There was talk of him running in 1968, but Richard Nixon, trying for the second time, got the nomination. So our movement was willing to give Nixon, the Communist fighter, 8 years. But in 1976, no offense to Gerald Ford, but it was our turn to elect our "Goldwater" and that man was Ronald Reagan. Came so tantalizingly close!

Do we care what Democrats think at this moment? Either they are in agreement with the salute to Ronaldus Magnus, in which case they are, for the moment at least, Americans first of all, or they bring up crappy little criticisms, which are entirely out of place.
