At 1pm eastern, 12pm Central....Fox News Channel is going to carry the 80 Birthday Jump of President George H.W. Bush. FNC Managing Editor Brit Hune and Conservative Actor and Former U.S. Air Force Security Forces Airman Chuck Norris are said to be jumping with Bush.
Lord. I wish he wouldn't do this.
I imagine foxnews.com has this on their web page by now.
I bet there is quite a crowd over on the west side of
Texas A&M Campus (where the Bush School and Library is) right now.
What does Geronimo say when he jumps from a plane
Meeeee!!!!!!!!
He should be jumping from Air Force One.
I thought they said he was jumping Sunday. Not Saturday.
Last October I went to the LBJ Library in Austin and then up to College Station for the Bush Library. The difference was incredible. Bush put LBJ's to shame.
41 jumping PING! Brit's jumping too - cool.
I'm glad it's Brit Hume with him and not Mort Kondracke. If Mort was skydiving, he would be about 100 feet from the ground, counting "T-t-t-t-t-TWO!"
Bush 41 was a true war hero, getting shot down three times. But while the Old Media usually uses the phrase, "John Kerry, decorated Viet Nam veteran..."; I don't ever recall them referring to "George Bush, decorated WWII veteran...."
LOL!
No Fear. He is jumping with the Golden Knights.
U.S. Army Parachute Team Members. So I am sure they got the word that if something goes wrong....folks will lose their stripes. (just kidding)
I don't think there is much chance of 41 becoming a "Georgia Dirt Dart".
He had a slightly sprained thumb on his release hand when he was on Larry "Garliiiiic" King's show the other night...but that won't be a problem.
He said one of the reasons he is doing this is to prove to the older folks that they can still get out and do stuff.
Black Hat to jump student:
"You see those trees down there...that's where Pathfinders jump...maybe someday you'll be a Pathfinder"
Hope not...I just set the vcr!
Maybe it is Sunday.
Gonna go to Fox Web Page and check right now.
Pong
Well, is it today or tomorrow?
Thanks for the ping....I did NOT have the cable news channels on as I was taking a mental break from news and I would have been extremely upset if I missed this.
I thought it was going to be tomorrow!
I well remember his jump 10 years ago. We were living in Milwaukee and he jumped here in Arizona at Yuma. That was when the seed was planted of "I want to move back to Arizona".
Thanks for the heads-up
MY BAD....SOME NEWS OUTLET I JUST LOOKED AT SAID IT IS JUNE 12...WHICH IS HIS BIRTHDAY...SO I THINK IT IS SUNDAY...
but since I just listed a time and not a date in the announcement.....I think I am still ok.
So consider those time for Sunday....
