Yes, please call me anything you wish. Cubby is my name of preference!
You're a very nice person if you love animals. For so many years I did not love them, just tolerated them. Then I saw the light!
And I'm honored that you remember ANYTHING about me! LOL!
Howdy! Love your FReeper name (^..^)/
I think Cubby's a cute name! Pets brighten up our lives so much! I've had some wonderful ones. :)
Animals are like that. They have to LEARN things, just like us. It's amazing. We proudly brought our 1st Cavalier, Oliver, home at 6 weeks. Now, I know that puppies and kittens should be left as long as possible with their mommy and littermates. They're in school!
To this day, Oliver prefers to TALK to us, not bark. He mumbles. The others learned to bark as they were older puppies, so they bark, and Oli learned from them.
I have to tell you a very cute story....
I had taken some canned dog food and sliced it, baking it in the oven. The "kids" love it crunchy. I was freeping while it baked, then put it out of the oven onto the counter to cool. While sitting in my barca, Oli bounded into the kitchen, checked the counter, bounded back and stood in front of me and proceeded to move his mouth up and down, as if telling me "OK, it's done...I want it NOW."
He made no sound, just moved his mouth as if talking. Hubby and I collapsed into giggles. He is soooo cute.
And of course, got his treats!
Thank you for the warm welcome, Mewzilla! Your screen name is interesting; it sounds like a cute kitty name. :)
No facts, but have heard that rumor about Ron Jr. for years. I also don't know about the marriage being a sham, but from what I saw of his wife during the week, she looks to be quite bit older than him and she is not attractive.
However, that doesn't excuse him for leaving her stand crying at RWR's coffin! Thank God that Michael is tender hearted and caring.
That was posted to Homemom, but I've just got to say, that was so cute! Oli sounds adorable. :)
***There are certain times when I want to give all my attention to what is being shown...like last week's events.
In that case, I find it hard to be on live threads, so I agree.***
I agree. I really wish they'd break them up into sections after they get to 2 or 3 hundred so that if you get there late, you can kinda figure out which part you want to read.
Welcome to the dose...My father refers to it as the "back yard fence"! America certainly has a large back yard.....Freepers are the greatest!
The Lord protected him over and over again, and he said he felt the power of prayer for him while he was there.
Thank you SO much for being a part of what brought him home safely!
btw, he's doing great!
Thank you, Hoosiermama! I've looked at your Freeper page several times over my lurkdom; I think you have a beautiful place! We bought us a place out in the country a while back, and we love it!
He was in so much pain from his Civil War wound that eventually killed him at the age of 85 that he had it installed so he wouldn't have to bend over to reach it.........and yet there are pictures of him not long before his death where he was sitting tall in his saddle.
Remarkable man. Remarkable.
One of the things about the last week (and I am sure you would agree) is the number of old hymns that were played. I saw lots of people asking about the music, whiich is a good thing.
It was my honor and privalege to pray for your wonderful son! When I heard he was sharing the Scriptures with his comrads, I knew he was blessed of the Lord! He is an exceptional young man. God bless you, OhioW, and your fine family!
Even though the CLinton's eye's were shut I found that gesture less embarrassing then their nodding their heads to the beat of the music of the hymns....The camera moved away quickly....Did any one else catch it? My father asked if they had been nipping with Teddy before the service.....Later when they showed the closed eyes all we could do was chuckle a bit...
ALso:
DId you hear the open mike that caught someone saying "Isn't She a piece of work!"? We'll never know which 'she' the speaker was identifying , but within a couple of minutes the announcer explaining "there were open mikes all over the place, picking up bits and pieces of conversation.....RIGHT!
OHH Poor barney
He is not going anyway POOR BABY
