What's happenin'? I've got a ton to do tonight, so I'm going to keep it short.
I just finished cutting the new trailer, and will spend the rest of the night, focused on the demo for distributors. We have a solid skeleton, and now it's about putting my personality into it. So that's where we are. I'm absolutely blown away by how big this whole endeavor has become. We toiled away in anonymity for a year, and to suddenly have people paying attention is really strange.
So in a matter of a few short weeks, we've gone from being in a situation where I didn't know if I'd ever get the flick finished, to a situation where the film is fully funded, and where we will be announcing a distributor within a few short days. More on that later.
The most important part for me is that the film will be seen. I'm willing to deal with whether people love it or hate it, and whether it's a smash or a bomb, because I crafted it out of nothing. It's on my shoulders right now. The next few days are going to be the part of the ride where we crest and start screaming at 100MPH. It will be a blast, provided we can keep it on the rails. I'll keep you posted.

Where can I line up to see it?
I first heard of this a few months ago (on the episode of Buchanan and Press that is shown in the trailer). At the time, it seemed like nothing more than a guy trying to get a quick buck. I didn't hear about the documentary until a couple of days ago when I viewed the trailer. I must say that I was shocked by how good the film looks. I didn't expect the film to discuss such nuanced topics as it seems to address. I am really looking forward to this now.
Gave me goosebumps when Dinesh came on... he is simply brilliant. I hope the documentary is a success.
So when is this baby going to be released? I need to bring a few friends over who vote rat but have no reason why they do it.

THAT'S who I though it was! D'Souza! I have a book of his about Reagan. He was great a couple of times on Politically Incorrect.
I only hope my fellow freepers will be out en masse to protest at those theatres carrying Moore's anti-American propaganda!!

Good music, good cutting, good rhythm. If the movie is like this, it should do well.
Protesting him feeds both his ego and his publicity machine.
If anyone thinks that folks will prefer Moore's film to Spider-Man 2 (opening a few days later) they need their heads examined.
Moore preaches to the chior. Let him, its a free country. Be armed with the facts in one-on-one conversations. Rebut his premises.
Don't protest him. That makes him almost seem...consequential.

OK, I understand your thought, but you are not correct.
Under the laws of the U.S. Moore gets away with a legal form of sedition as the courts recognize free speech but have limits if there is no way to provide a counter view.
If Moore speaks and no counter view is issued, then he truly gets away with treason.
It is not only our right to counter this, it is our responsibility. It is required, not just optional to do this.
I salute the guy who is doing this and pray he gets to as many people as Moore. This is how the cosmos remains in balance, as the liberal left has taken advantage of our freedoms to use them against us.
