I heard at CPAC that it was a local paper using that as a derogatory comment about Robinson.

Unfortunately Vernon is, IMO, running a poor campaign. His opponents and enemies characterize him as a buffoon and he plays into their hands at times. Two steps forward, three steps back.

It isn't a lie. The democrats ARE more closely associated in the minds of most people with the civil rights movement.

Calvin Coolidge endorsed civil rights legislation and lost every southern state in 1924 to Democrat John W. Davis of WV, who was later the defendant's lawyer in the "Brown v. Board of Education" case.

I contend the first minority President will be a Republican.

Really hard to tell from this website what Myrah believes in or what party she represents. All you can find out about her is that she is for "fresh ideas."

I don't know. Does he have a twin brother? And does he have more recorded career sacks than his brother, or even Lawrence Taylor?

Seriously, I think that White would be a powerful spokesman for all of the believers in the Republican Party, especially in a state like Wisconsin.

If I recall correctly, there was a man by the name of Greer who put up a strong challenge to Congressman Tammy Baldwin in this past election.

It's a shame that the GOP lost such a vital swing district, but I guess there's not much we can do about now, seeing as how she is now an entrenched incumbent with a sizable war chest.

I read a release somewhere on her site where she is attempting to put Kildee on the record, i.e. endorsing Kerry or supporting Kerry, and Kerry's platform (she specifically singles out what Kerry would do to the automotive industry, and by extension, the numerous auto workers in the 5th District.

Many Republican candidates are doing the same thing in regards to their Democrat challenger, they are trying to get their opponent on record as either for Kerry or against Kerry. Internal Democrat Party pressure will tug at them one way, and Kerry's views being seen as out of the mainstream by the public will tug on the opposite side.

More Republican candidates need to be doing this.
