Moron juror said a ton of dumb stuff, including stuff that implicates him talking about the case with his girlfriend, but Rocha backs up his story about their conversation.

I'm back on a limited, post only basis. I've been sick, been dx'd with a new and more serious medical problem. Not life threatening, thank goodness. But one that keeps me from the threads or my website. I wasn't able to log on but once or twice starting around Jan. of this year. I've been back reading some for about a month.
But I've always been with you all and Laci in spirit....
I am at least glad to hear that your life is not threatened by this illness, Hergus! Get well soon!!

I would be just as satisfied if someone other than Scott were the perpetrator--as long as they GOT that person!
I have been trying to do a little mental exercise... I've been trying to imagine another person having killed her. I picture this imaginary perp as male, b/c of statistical probability. He has to have encountered Laci in Modesto! And it has to have been near her home, b/c her car was in her driveway untouched. (If she'd been far from home in someone else's car, then I think the someone else would've known instantly that Laci was missing.)
IN Modesto, NEAR or IN her home. Okay, this pervert or sicko or whatever he is, kills this pregnant woman. Okay, so...... HOW the HELL does her body end up in San Francisco Bay?
Okay, said sicko wants to frame Scott. Maybe he was someone who Scott under-tipped one time, or something. (We don't know of any dire enemies of Scott's... never has Scott's family or defense mentioned any such enemies.) Okay, so if the sicko wants to frame Scott, what BETTER PLACE to leave the telltale corpse than in Scott's YARD, or his HOUSE, or his POOL?? Why take the huge risk of trucking the dead body 90 miles away? And why weigh the body down if the purpose of "planting" the body in the Bay is to frame Scott? Why not leave it floating somewhere where it would be easier to find? (And we know the body has to have been weighted, or it would've been found much sooner.)
I know this isn't what is called for in court, but: the only logical choice for Laci's murderer is... SCOTT.
And btw, in the transcripts of the testimony of both Amy and Brent, these two witnesses mention that THEY had to PROVE to the police where THEY were during the time in which Laci disappeared. Amy had to present time cards, her employers were questioned; Brent's alibi was also checked out. (Brent doesn't even live in Modesto, so his alibi rang true for that and other reasons.)
Gad, is that Justin guy LAME, or what?
He is clearly eager to hobnob with people he sees as "famous". This was shown by his backslapping of Geragos, and his eagerness to engage Brent in conversation, and his "smiling" at Scott. (Sheesh, I'll bet Scott was getting weirded out by the guy, but then he had to tell himself, "Smile back, he might be the holdout!)"
There are baggers at my local grocery store who, compared to this Justin guy, have great dignity and presence.
Thanks Dev, I'll be watching the circus, reading the transcripts so I can make up my own mind instead of the more and more untrustworthy shows on TV.
Yes, the talking heads--all except a few--are in a frenzy about how "there's no evidence" blah blah blah... and meanwhile, we read a transcript in which Geragos is just hitting the roof about how "unfair" the media is!
But then, heaven forbid a blowhard like Geragos would concentrate on simply doing his job--instead of worrying about what the media might be saying!

I can't get over how he told the judge that his "girlfriend wanted to kick the Court TV lady's ass". Let's just imagine for a moment what sort of girlfriend a guy like that would have........ whoa, if she really exists and is not merely someone who is inflated with an air pump...
