V. Fox is to be in the US for 2 more days trashing the US and our laws. Bush will never say a word against him. My thinking is that unless Bush gets some sort of immigration policy aimed at Mexico, Fox will undermind him in the elections and support the Democrats. This will never hit the media.
It should be in the news, here in Az. There has been a sudden upsurge in arrests of elderly Americans who, having crossed the border, in search of cheap prescription drugs, are being tossed into Mexican prisons. Channel 3 in Phoenix profiled the plight of a 67 yr. old man, who traveled to Mexico, to secure drugs for his sick wife. Had a legal prescription (which the Mexican govt. doesn't recognize) and he's now facing up to 10 yrs. in prison. The news channel says that they know of at least a dozen other Americans in the same boat - languishing in prisons, but our Consulate does nothing about it. In fact, these prisoners are not even fed - they have to have family and friends bring them food or they don't eat. I have no use for these 'neighbors' to our South. It would make a fine place to resume above ground nuclear testing IMHO
