Mr Clinton reportedly also writes that he attributes problems during his upbringing as contributing to a self-destructive streak that tends to act up when he's tired, angry or feeling alone.

Typical liberal. There is a reason he's like this ... it's not his character natually. So much for personal responsibility.

Bill Clinton confessed he trysted with her simply "because I could".

Damn! If this is true the former President of the United States has publicly confessed in writing to SEXUAL HARRASSMENT. Now, it is time for the law to charge him for his crime. Alternatively, everyone ever jailed for the crime of sexual harassment should file an automatic petition for release and absolvement of their crime.

 Exactly right!

Every system of checks in power are designed to prevent anyone from ever acting on this basis: "because I could"

And this guy was the President of the United State!!?? and his party and supporters are still viable when they should be lower than the scum in a septic system? It is for this mentality that we have a democracy so that once exposed they can be removed as soon as possible. Clinton still needs to be brought to justice.

The thing is we all have to learn from our mistakes, hers unfortunately will repeatedly hit her for the rest of her life.

The former White House intern is said to be mortified and upset by Clinton's cold description of their affair.

Well, on the plus side...at least Monica's finally "mortified".

He can continue to write books from now until he dies, but he will never be able to change the fact that he was the worst President in the history of this nation.

One wonders how long it will take to clean up the mess he left behind.

If Monica really wanted to humiliate him .... have a nice press conference and expound on his abilities and gifts as a patheitc lover.

You know, he could have done something charitable in this book, like take complete responsibility for his actions and accept the full wrath of the country 127 posted on 06/20/2004 8:28:28 AM PDT by Howlin

But Clinton's self-righteous victimology never allows him to take responsibility. Clinton sees himself as the victim. He has a grandiose and psychopathic sense of entitlement. There is a strange resentment that hovers around Clinton. A persecution complex. He engages in the most outrageos and reckless personal misbehavior and then cries "foul" is anyone points out how creepy and amoral he is. Weird.

He's a kook.

Apparently he just had a psycho episode during a BBC interview.

He also seems to view public life and politics as a form of "therapy." We are all required to participate in group therapy sessions with him.

Clinton's career may have been the first psychobabble presidency.

This type 'misbehavior' usually disappears by age 25-30, doesn't it?

Well, it's not a matter of sympathy, really.

Consenting adults can reasonably indulge in a dalliance with no real romantic connection between the two. If she had any maturity, she would have understood that.

She has clearly been off her rocker about the liason ever since it happened. Valentines Day classified? Telling what's-her-name that she thought Clinton was her 'soul mate?' And now this - being upset when he matter-of-factly evaluates the dalliance as nothing special at all.

At least in matters of Clinton, she has no grasp of what's real. She mistakes a sudden, indulgent act or oral sex for a genuine romantic connection with her soul mate.

This is punctuated by the fact that most people had incredible clarity about the situation.
