I remember you, crapping all over the AZ Chapter for a sign referring to "DASSHOLE". It "reflected poorly on us" is what you said...us hayseeds in flyover country just can't "do it right" like the big boys.
I guess dressing up in giant condoms and using that kind of language is OK for the legendary DCC in the middle of a large city, but out of line in the middle of the desert in 115 degree heat.
This is why I don't think very highly of you, Kristinn.
Try leaving the dirty language signs home next time?

Whatever one feels about Daschle, using profanity, especially on a protest sign, at a public demonstration is rude (first), bad PR (second) and turns people off who would otherwise be inclined to join us (third).
I can't believe I have to make this plain after how many hundreds of Free Republic demonstrations where we have not allowed the use of profanity. That is one of the reasons we have been so successful with our demonstrations. Leave the gutter-talk for the other side.

"Clinton apologist Joe Conason said, "He's a horse's ass" about Raoul to a group taking pictures."
Are there ANY 'rats who don't think about ass in some form 24/7?
I hope you're just kidding around. NYC being as densely populated as it is, I would think that a whole bunch of Freepers would turn out to stand with you guys.
I saw you tonight on Special Report. Well done. You nailed the sound bite and the shot of the book index was priceless.
You are right that Raoul was NOT interviewed.
Doctor Raoul and his sign were shown for about ten seconds as they came back from commercial to continue discussion between Scarborough, Carl Bernstein (whose shabby attempts to excuse Clinton's misconduct were demolished by Scarborough), and former House impeachment manager Bill McCollum.
Scarborough said something like, "here's what a heckler said at the book event. My guys want me to read his sign, but you can read it yourself. Clinton may not be able to avoid, these issues."
Ok, that's what I saw. I bet that sign was the talk of the town.
.
Did you hear them (the behind-the-cameras-guys) guffawing while the photo was on the screen, too?
What a riot!
P.S. Have you checked your freepmail recently? VRWC info alert.
Thanks for your activism!
Have another Ace.
OK. I'll bite. What's an "Ace"?
You guys just ROCK! :)
Tune into FoxNews... coming up after this commercial break
Go here and then to post #66 for a link to watch the report online. Doctor Raoul and Firebrand did the "Public Education" last night and today in NYC (covered by MSNBC's Joe Scarborough), and Kristinn did some educating in DC today, too (covered by Fox News' Major Garrett).
:-)
You are a sweetie, thank you!
I wouldn't have been able to make it---as you know I'm (*cough*) real busy with a (*cough* ahem!) project this week---but it sure sounds like y'all had fun, and I'm delighted about the TV exposure.
