(blast from the past) CLINTON COMMITTED PERJURY IN CRIMINAL TRIAL OF BANKERS

For those FReepers who were either asleep or not on this forum during IMPEACHMENT time, Bill Clinton should have been nailed for the perjury he committed in the criminal trial of bankers Herbie Branscum and Robert Hill.

I worked with Dr. Paul Fick (THE DYSFUNCTIONAL PRESIDENT author) on this adventure. We got Fick in front of the investigators at the Judiciary Committee. After hearing from him and seeing the transcript, they were astounded. They knew Clinton had perjured himself in the criminal trial. Unfortunately, it was too late to do anything about it. The GOP had earlier caved and allowed a time limit. Clinton's delays had worked. Here is a post from the good old days.

The election is over. Bill Clinton's criminal activity is not. Those at the March for Justice and those watching C-SPAN saw Dr. Paul Fick, author of THE DYSFUNCTIONAL PRESIDENT, call for Henry Hyde to subpoena him to testify. Rather than sit back and think it is all over, some of us have been making phone calls and sending faxes and e-mails.

Calls to nine Republican members of the house judiciary committee have left me speechless. None of those offices knew anything about Bill Clinton's perjury during the 1996 Little Rock trial of Herbie Branscum and Robert Hill.

In June of 1994, Fick sat down in a Little Rock hotel with Bert Dickey, a long time friend of Clinton. Dickey had held fund raisers in his own home for the governor. An hour and a half into the conversation, Fick was stunned when Dickey told how he gave money to Clinton to buy his way onto a state commission. Despite the fact that Clinton took the money and promised him the position, he did not give it to him.

Dickey then identified seven other people who were involved in buying state commissions for cash or laundering the money. Dickey was very involved in the laundering aspect. He took in money and wrote checks. The FBI is in possession of photo copies of those checks. He has testified before FBI agents assigned to the office of the independent counsel. He gave them the names of the seven others who had first hand knowledge of the criminal activity.

Fick read the transcript of the 1996 video testimony of Clinton in the Branscum/Hill trial and was shocked when Clinton testified that he had never sold a state commission for cash. Through Dickey's help, Fick knew of the witnesses who could say that Clinton perjured himself.

After the testimony, Fick talked to a contact who was at the highest level of the FBI. Fick was told that Clinton's perjury involving a matter that would not longer be a crime under the statute of limitations, now created a RICO problem for him.

Clinton defenders will contend that everyone gives campaign contributions and is rewarded if your guy wins the election. That may well be, however in this case, people actually walked into the state Capitol, took amounts such as twenty, forty or fifty thousand dollars and said "I want such and such job." That is illegal. That is bribery. That is abuse of power.

Through a series of phone calls and referrals, I understand that the investigators at judiciary are in possession of a facsimile with information of which they had been unaware. May they do the right thing.
