Long story short... high school kid posts conservative messages, has messages torn down, is violently threatened by adults and students, gets appointment with principal, principal starts to realize his freedoms but finally yields to fanatics.
Read the whole story, but we must freep this man as he, after seeming reasonable, yielded to the fear of violent opposition.

most states have laws against making terrorist threats. Go to the police, file a police report demand prosecution. Let them negotiate with you to drop charges.
If I was school principal, there'd be NO SIGNS whatsoever. School is for learning, not political rabblerousing- I mean expression.
That's what I would do.
I should note that I am not the student in question here. I was simply referencing a great story. Please read it and act.
When sepenas start flying people will start to reccognize your freedom of speach rights. Make them take out a public add in the local paper, apologizing to you ( make sure you have editorial approval ) then sting them with a appropriate dollar donation your favorite conservative charity.
yup! exactly... I think this student should assert his rights the same way the libs do.
PET PEEVE RUN AMOK:
It's "subpoena," not "sepena."
And it's "speech," not "speach."
Ever since I got out of surgery, these things grate on me more than usual. Please take no offense.

WOW! Impressive communicating and standing up for Constitutional rights.
AND, what a learning experience, one would hope for all concerned but evidently only for those of your persuasion! LOL.
CONGRATS. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
Just for contrast, here is a description of my daughter's high school commencement speech by the Senior Class President.
Following a pleasant and mildly humorous address, and after the obligatory thanks to parents, teachers, etc, the girl said, "and I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with whom I have a personal relationship!"
The statement evoked loud, deliberate and sustained applause.
She finished her speech a minute later with a quotation from Scripture, St. Paul on running the race.
More emphatic applause.
This was a public high school in Northeast Ohio, between Akron and Cleveland, where people still get it.
funny!!

This kid's going to be successful in whatever he chooses to do. He's already an excellent writer, and he knows how to research and debate. Really, some of the most coherent, interesting prose I've read in a while.
while school IS for learning, most teachers try to sneak their liberal opinion in and this kid decided he would loudly voice his opinion. Kudos to the pw!! I read the article a while ago on the pw headquarters website. I wrote the principal because this kid had had enough of all the liberal propaganda at school and decided to do something about it.
Of course if the school is going to allow such posts, then to be FAIR they have to allow conservative posters. Liberals like fairness when it only applies to them.
Great story. I appreciate the post.
Great effort! You have succeeded in almost every way.
You may wish to appeal the poster decision to the school board. You can request an opportunity to speak for a few minutes at a board meeting.
In the meantime I suggest that you keep a record of all posters that are not strictly related to school, or which may offend some people, as they appear now and in the weeks to come.
You may want to use this opportunity to follow the procedures for forming a school sanctioned club with a faculty sponsor. You know, something like the "Thomas Paine Student Activist Forum."
Educating others, causing people to think, and challenging popular misconceptions are goals worthy of the Socratic tradition. People shout the loudest when they are the least certain of their arguments. Kudos!
The Left was all for "questioning authority" until they became the establishment.
The kid himself is unbelievably politically aware, articulate, and courageous. I wish I'd been that together in high school - my Nazi thug administrators and wizened old bag teachers would have thought they'd died and gone to hell. (They weren't very comfortable with me around as it was... but this kid is *incredible*).
