I believe the hardest thing is for people to accept this could happen in this country. I had my doubts at first too. It's just so outrageous it is unbelievable. If Terri ever allowed to go to court all this over IMO.

You are all right. There's so many reasons why people are reluctant.

First- they've been spoon-fed misinformation from the get-go. It's amazing to me that so many think the mainstream media is telling the truth without ever investigating it on their own. They don't seem to understand that anything (true or untrue) can be published. Everything we read is basically someone's "take" on a situation, sometimes backed up with facts, and sometimes not. You can tell a lot about what someone is saying by understanding what they're not saying as well. Felos and Michael are great examples of this. What they don't say can be just as important (even more so) than what they do say.

Second- so many are just living in this bubble world that trusts what the powers that be say. They can't imagine that this could be happening in our country. But we have been led like sheep to the slaughter. We have been asleep while this has been happening all around us. It's been going on for years, and Terri is just one more stepping stone down the path of the slippery slope.

It's high time we all pay attention to the misdeeds going on around us. We are our brother's keeper. Terri is precious, and I just pray that many more will begin to see how precious she is. People have allowed themselves to be snowed by the media and the seedy likes of Michael and Felos.

I agree, CD. Reminds me of this.

It is my hope and prayer that all information, all debate leads to positive action and the ultimate release of Terri to her family. Prayers continue for all involved in this tough battle. Those of us at a distance cannot imagine how tough it is to be there.

Thanks for your work-in-progress on scientology, Lisa. I'd read some scary stuff on it a while back esp. in relation to their disregard for any not deemed up to their standards. I'm too tired to look up the links right now, but may try to post later.

I am more grateful than ever for the preparatory work on the scene before the vigil began. Freegards to all.
