If you served in both, you notice a significant differance between the two.
You people are too serious, this is a light-hearted interservice ribbing, chill out, relax and take a chill pill.
I was always careful not to participate in any "interservice ribbing" and to show respect to all service members. I know it happens a lot, but I know that each service member is vital to our security, therefore I always appreciated them all. In fact, I did one tour in SHAPE, Belgium and served with service members from all NATO countries. It opened my eyes in appreciation of other countries service members too.

Please tell us the units you served in specifically and what time periords?
I think the regular ARMY and the MARINES are a lot different, but the ARMY does have special units that are very close to the MARINES, but I am very biased I love all our military ,but my beloved MARINES will always be special to me, I married and retired with one.
