President George W. Bush has inched up on Democratic challenger John Kerry among Pennsylvania voters and now has 43 percent to Sen. Kerry's 44 percent, with 7 percent for independent candidate Ralph Nader, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

Does anyone know if Nader is on the ballot in Pa.? It's great that we're tied here but he needs to do better than 43% to win.
Poll Ping. Let me know if you want me to leave you alone.

Who won Pa., Bore or W? Is this good news?
Agree with the observation about Dubya needing to do better. However, this is terrible news for Kerry, with or without Nader in the mix. By all accounts, for Kerry's chances he needs to have PA wrapped up at this point. He doesn't, and that bodes ill for him come November.
If it isn't any trouble, add me to your poll ping.
Thanks.
I have to get some sleep. I thought the headline was, "Kerry dead of the heat in Pennsylvania".
we really need PA with its 21 EV's.
I really don't see it.
Bush's buddy Arleeeeeeen Spector will be soooooooo much help. /sarcasm
This makes perfect sense. zombie's polls are begining to become more and more reliably 7 points bent toward rat candidates. The other day I heard that zombie had lurch plus 7 in Pa. I still say that ralphie will do at least 4 and maybe as much as 6 points. As the Bush haters come to realize that lurch will lose, they will run to ralphie to show how much they hate Bush. They run on emotion. Voting for a loser like lurch won't be emotionally satisfying enough.
Odd... Kerry should be doing better in PA than Ohio.
Dales, I think that ARG poll is off. There was a nine-point spread between PA (Gore by 5, 51-46) and Ohio (Bush by 4, 50-46).
Zogby might be closer based on the 2000 results. He's got Bush up by 5.5. ARG is overly favorable to the Dems, too.
The partisan balance in Pa./Ohio relative to 2000 has been out of whack for months. Lots of polls are showing Kerry's Ohio performance matching or exceeding his Pa. performance.
Nah, the 'RATS need Pa., for us it's just insurance.
What is the turnout model for this poll? Who did they sample?
Get bussy up there in PA. We are winning!
I guess I'll finally respond to that request for phone bank volunteer! But the President's fund raiser in nearby Villanova (at $2000 a pop) was a bit steep.
And, you always were a pesky little brother . . . ;)
The ARG poll is showing 23% are "Independents".
I'm not buying that for a minute. Currently there are more than three books that advise people to lie to pollsters, telling them to say they are Republicans, or better Independents - when in fact they are far left, life long Democrats.
"Ben" of Ben and Jerry's was on Hannity a couple of weeks ago, cheerfully admitting his book recommends this tactic.
There is simply no way there is almost one fourth of Ohio's registered voters that are "Independents".
Short version, they are lying, and thus trying to overstock the polls for a RAT.
Can't stand Ben and Jerry's ice cream anyhow. Give me Dairy Queen and Baskin Robins. Besides, Rumsfeld's doing more for world peace than every Peace Pop ever sold (shamelessly swiped from P.J. O'Rourke).
No way in heck Nader gets 7% in PA. Maybe the only states that could feasibly go for Nader at that rate might be WA, OR, ME.
The bigger question is what share of Ohio's voters are registered in Pennsylvania. ;)
