The Faces of John Kerry's Democratic Party(New Bush Ad is Devastating)

"The Faces of John Kerry's Democratic Party" "The Coalition of the Wild Eyed."

It shows clips of the unhinged Al Gore (how dare they drag the good name of the US), Howard Dean(I want my country back), Dick Gephardt(This President is a miserable failure), Michael Moore from the Oscars, John Kerry (kick their ass), and shows some of the Nazi/Bush comparisons from Moveon.org.

It is not a pretyy picture.

Then it is contrasted with "This is not a time for pessimism and rage" "It is a time for optimism, steady leadersnip, and progress".

Yeah, I agree. They could have dropped the Hitler footage altogether. It doesn't sit well. It might not sit well with those on the fence as it doesn't necessarily explain that this is what democrats are comparing President Bush to. It might appear to be Republicans comparing dems to Nazis, especially the footage of Hitler on a raging speech there in between. The 'Rats' ad was dropped in 2000 for the same reason.

Merely showing the insanity of the left would have been enough. Then, as you said, with a calm and collected George Bush at the end.

As a side note, Evan Maloney of Brain-Terminal.com could make a great ad with his footage. I'm sure the official campaign wouldn't be about to use footage of the average leftist American, but a third party could.

Bliss!

This is the sort of add I love to see. Skewer 'em with their own words.

Democrats will, of course, say the are not responsible for what they say or do.

LOL!!! Yesterday's rant by gore was disgusting. Is he really that stupid? I am so glad Florida came through for us.

I agree. It's a terrible ad. Great idea. But terribly done. I wouldn't be surprised if the left actually LIKES it!

Right. As it stands, your typical Kerry supporter would probably see this ad as anti-GWB (thus pro-Kerry), showing how the democrats are all fired up and all that drama they seem to appreciate. Plus the ad does appear to unintentionally compare GWB to Hitler.

If you think about the ad's message, it's pro-GWB and has a good point. But the problem is, most people won't think about it, especially since it's an ad, and we've been conditioned to ignore ads.

A lot of DUers love the ad. Naturally, since they are the wild-eyed and see nothing wrong with the mental states of Gore, etc.

I didn't see a "I am GWB and I approve this ad" so I am assuming that this is still a work in progress. Probably released to scare the RATS and force them into going nasty early. Another Republican strategy to keep the RATS off balance.

When this airs, expect to see the Hitler reference removed and a "Lie after Lie after Lie" or the "Black Helicopter" quote from Teddy be added. We may even see a "Pelosi Special" although I do not think most Amnericans can identify her.

On my computer, you can't even read the text under the video of Hitler.

Yeah, content aside, why would any ad, to be distributed on the net, have small text in it that can't be resolved at low resolution? As for the content, I'm sure the dems LOVE having the Hitler/Bush imagery repeated for them.

Jeeez! Don't look at this from an educated freeper standpoint, look at what the swing voter would see!!! Hello?

I like the ad, but I agree between each Dem rant there should be an opposing clip of the President speaking in a strong Presidential way.

How much clearer can you get. It's 1/3 of the ad.

Email the lowres clip to a swing voter, and tell me what the text says if it's so clear. The production values of this thing suck.

Oh come on, for 8 seconds there is a black background with white letters.

I consider myself a pretty perceptive person but all I was drawn to were huge head shots of ugly people screaming ugly things.

I just believe the ad is poorly done. Im an ardant Bush supporter and when viewing this, I was thinking Bush's website was hacked or something until the end. I was left with a blank on my face as to what exactly it was trying to say.

I cant say that is a good thing. The idea is right, just needs some tweaks to it like:

A) Don't Give these whackos a platform
B) Clearly show a Bush/Cheney 04 somewhere at all times
C) Interupt each lefty with a message of hope and positiveness
D) Stay away from anything Nazi...its just overplayed and unessesary

Althoght im not an expert, its an opinion from a Bush voter.

I didn't think the add was very good, It lets the dems get too much of their message out. They should lower the volume of the screaming maniacs and do a voice over narration telling us that their basically nuts.

Rove is playing Hardball

It's about G-D time! With the resources at hand, the "bully pulpit", campaign cash reserve that has to be used before the convention in September, etc. they should be hammering the other side relentlessly. They have to in order to overcome the Big Lie campaign by the networks, wire services, and newpapers.

You dont think they already tested this ad on swing voters? Of course they did. I bet it was devastating.

Freepers are over analysing what is a brutal ad.

Two minutes it too long. Ads must make the point ASAP. The "wild eyed" ad does the trick.

Who they really are.

I might have been even more brutal and for my message at the end, I would have asked, "Who really resembles Nazis?" For the editing of the clips, I would have added the one of Hitlery with her "disagree" rant. I could swear the cadence is exactly the same as Hitler used in one of those famous rally clips they always show on the History Channel. I have looked for it online, but never could find it.

It's probably a good move to only use clips with those that GWB will not have to deal with later, Gore is finished, Gephart isn't running again, etc.

How's it going? I've been out alot lately and most have just been skimming headlines, but this I had to check out. :)

I've been out on the harbor the last couple evenings and it's been kinda weird. My buddy who's boat I was on made the observation that there was an eerie lack of private boats on the water. I've been thinking the same thing for a few weeks. Yesterday there was plenty of commercial traffic, with the booming economy and all, but from the Narrows to the Battery, we only saw about 4 or 5 other boats. I know they are getting about $2.75 a gallon at many of the marine stations, but that is why we would expect more to stay close to home in the harbor. We saw two cruise ships leave port and they had tight USCG escorts in addition to the regular patrols, so they are doing what they can I'm sure. I just worry about something coming in on a container, I'm surrounded by all sorts of those and petroleum facilities.

I think the ad is a perfect response to the vitrol and hate the left has been spewing and slandering GW Bush with for the past year.

Let them be seen for the sicko whacked out fruitcakes them are. Associate they with every vile and despicalble video they have produced.

Let the American people decide. If they can't see the darkness of the left when it is exposed beside the light of the right, then there is no hope for them, they were lost to begin with and nothing Bush could do will change their minds.
