Linda Vester interviewed Paul Williams who authored Osama's Revenge. He said Osama has some 20 suitcase nukes and some of those very probably are already in the US. Additionally, he said Osama has some 5,000 operatives inside the US.

Considering the current environment, I'm sure there are instances of lawless violence and threats directed against Muslims, but nowhere near the extent the author wants to assert. Should anyone engage in criminal acts, regardless of the target, they should be prosecuted and I have no reason to believe they won't be.
