If you recall the media tried to give FL to Gore in 2000
VNS was a private consortium owned by
ABC News, The Associated Press, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, and NBC.

All 5 of the networks and cable newsrooms "announced" Gore had won
BEFORE the 2nd time zone in FL had closed.
This cost President Bush votes in the FL panhandle.
I was at a friends house and the State of FL election website results showed President Bush was winning
WHILE the big 5 media TV and Cable newsrooms "announced their" winner.

The big 5 media TV and Cable newsrooms are the real threat to the 2004 election.

..."Early on Tuesday, November 7th 2000, TV stations and various media based in Florida reported that Gore has won Florida which was a big surprise for everyone because of strong republican support. Bush's brother Jeb is governor there and Florida usually gives support to the Republicans. Some of them questioned that and during the night CNN showed 52% Bush's lead over 46% for Gore. It is almost impossible to believe that media could have been that blind and biased to report Gore's victory."...

"Also, I think it would be an excellent idea if we had a new law to impose the "death penalty" on anyone who screws intentionally with the voting "system".

Bye, Bye TV and Cable newsrooms! LOL

This is an excellent suggestion. If the records aren't available on line then you can try to get them posted.

They're almost bold enough that I would not be surprised to hear them make that claim.

I will look into this - I think it's a big issue. Our voting process is becoming more third-world every year...

Death records --- free access at Ancestry.com

http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/vital/ssdi/main.htm
Social Security Death Index, current through the end of May 2004

Can do a search on state and/or locale, but only by one year at a time.

In California they no longer verify your residence or validity of voter's registration with mailings. My mom remained on the rolls of a precinct she hadn't lived in for over 15 yrs! People should be required to re-register periodically or prove who they are when they vote. Registrations should be purged when there is no activity, but instead, I fear they are exploited!

Voter rolls are public. A little investigation and research will let you uncover duplicate registrations and get them cancelled... but you need to start now.
