History: rintense start posting pictures and information about our President's daily activities and speeches on his Inauguration over 3 years ago and it quickly became a gathering place for gals and guys who like to keep in touch with what is happening with the Prez, as the media doesn't let us see or hear a lot of the good stuff.
People started to say they had to get their daily Dose of the President in order to feel good every day, and that's how it got its nickname.
Many people are now on the ping list to be linked every day there is news/pictures about the President, and it has become a gathering place, an oasis, for fun and sharing and not having to listen all the time to Bush-bashers, although we've had our share of people who drop by to chastise us for belonging to a cult of personality and worse comments about our loyalty to the man who is carrying our banner.
After a couple years of doggedly loyal service, rintense, our Republican Warrior Princess, is now sharing the burden of posting the Day in the Life thread with other loyalists.
Kayak often posts the prayer list for those in harm's way here with a passage from Scripture.
Consider yourself pinged!
Thanks patriciaruth, I would like to be on the dose ping list. Is there an official list, if so, please add me.
Regarding your last picture of the SS, we probably don't give them all the credit they deserve. They may stay in the background but their work is very stressful. God bless the Secret Service.
And you're right. Not exactly an inspirational speaker. :o)
Cheney was very mellow, but when I saw the TV coverage (from the FRONT) he kept giving that cute little wry smile thing that he does............especially when he was on the part of the speech that was slamming Kerry!
The crowd was pumped up, too. And it's in a very Democratic part of Cleveland. I've been seeing a LOT of enthusiasm for this campaign..........so much so that I'm not worried about Ohio any more.....
She loved the people of Poland and their love for the Lord, and she made some really good friends among the youth of the church they were working with.
(She just can't pronounce their last names!)
She told us a lot about her trip last night, but I'm sure there's lots more to come. :o)
"I'm FIRED UP .. I want 50 States come November"
WOW! What faith! Go W GO!
Thanks to all!
*Talk among yourselves*
Done.
Thanks be to our Great God, for His protection, and for all His work in the life of your dear daughter! Praise His Name!
Welcome back. You certainly had a whirlwind move!
I'll be going through the same thing myself shortly. - moving and finding new providers for everything that is. I don't think cable is out where I'll be living so it's probably Sat. TV and dialup for Internet.
But like you, my view and serenity in the area will make it all worthwhile. I'm gridlock and road rage behind.
It's the getting from here to there that's going to be tough for me. Leaving this house I bought for my Mom is going to continue to be very tough. I remember her in this house on thousands of occasions, and leaving this home I bought for her isn't easy.
You're welcome, - for the Dose. I don't know how I'm going to do it while doing the furious packing and moving but will try to do it for as long as possible before taking a, hopefully short, hiatus.
Truthy
