Republicans still act like they are the minority party. They don't know how to act like a majority party.

Dems, the current minority party, act like they are the majority party and they get away with allot of crap. If the situation were reversed and a minority Pub party tried some of that stuff, the Dems would shut them down immediately.

Pubs need to start acting like the Majority party or they will return to minority status for a long time.

I guess that means old Sarin, VX, etc cannot harm you.

That's right - Saddam would never have used old Sarin gas against his enemies.

Not only with the CIA, but why did the rest of the world, the UN, remain concerned regarding Iraq and WMD and carry on with the belief they had and continued to work on them? And shouldn't we be concerned that Iraq may have very well moved the weapons?

R and R were crying that Congress was mislead. Ok. They should have whoever mislead them up on charges. Why don't they? If the CIA or whatever agencies provided misinformation, their administrative personnel should be the ones who are being indicted. Why aren't they?

Every Republican on the committee signed off on this. It was unanimous.

Kerry and Edwards came to St. Pete, Fla. two nights ago and the local channel aired it. Kerry said if he is President America will go to war because it HAS TO .. not because it WANTS TO. THIS IN ADVANCE OF THE (INTELLIGENCE) REPORT TODAY.

Roberts is very weak.

Although I was glad he at least said he would have voted for the war anyway.

THis is going to be ugly and I hope the Bush administration has an answer to this report that can put to bed the liberal mantra once and for all that "Bush lied".

Thank the Republicans for putting out such a great report. As for the African uranium charge-seems as if the British had an inquiry and are going to release a report that in fact that did happen, so where are these people in apologizing for that? So many contradictions as this belief of Iraq and WMD is so longstanding by everyone and yet they are acting as if it was just made up by the CIA and administration. THESE SENATORS NEED TO ANSWER FOR THEIR OWN LIES THEN.

It's easy to "blame" the nameless spooks of the CIA. (previous post forgot: /sarcasm)

Saddam DID possess WMD, and Saddam used WMD.

I just heard them dismissing the discovered WMD as being irrelevant since they were left over from other wars. I guess that means old Sarin, VX, etc cannot harm you.

So that advanced binary sarin shell is nothing? Like didn't the UN resolution prescribe that Sadam account for all his WMDs and Sadam even said he did. Yet the quantifiable evidence after the war now (eg. the binary sarin shell and must shells) shows Sadam did not account for all his WMDs, was in violation of the UN resolutions and the evidence is an indicator that there are more WMDs out there.

The republicans just can't be dismissing this stuff ... thats insane. How do people get a way with moving the goal posts like this?

yep. if they have some great piece of info. we haven't heard yet, Now, is the time to drop it on us.

I still want to know what happened to the WMD that the Clinton Admin. said there was. Does the report answer that.
It should have started there.

Someone on Fox just said we have a Perfect Storm in the making with all these reports coming out .. 9-11 report, etc.

They can't BS me......I , in desert storm, and others there today have seen em , touched em ,tested and destroyed em. The Senate Intelligence Commitee is selling camel chit to the sheeple. They do as much damage to our nation as the terrorists when they lie in such a manner knowing full and well that there are people there in country and here that know better.

IMO the CIA would rather claim they goofed and let the polidiots and presstitutes scurry around pissed and proud than to give up their official and NOC sources "during this war on terrorism".

Just my opinion based on what I've seen first hand in the past and am hearing first hand from trusted co-workers still in the business........:o)

Stay safe !

Yes, and where is the administration in pointing this out? Roberts, Rockefeller and the rest of them need to be included in the blame game of this report because EVERYONE has their hands dirty on Iraq and WMD. I'm just shocked by the complete silence from the President in claims that he lied about all of this-he needs to point out that everyone LIED then. He needs to call them on it because at the very least every nation in this world was duped because it was universal in belief that Iraq had WMD and what about Putin's statement that he warned President Bush of Iraq planning terrorist strikes against the USA after 9/11? Silence from the media and the idiots who put together this report. I am so angry because there is no counter to these asinine charges.

Most of the Senate and House Republicans seem afraid for their re-election and unwilling to anger the Democratic attack machine. They will not do anything to attract the attention of the press and Democratic machine because they would endanger their electoral security. The object lessons of the targeted "house managers" of the Clinton era has them totally intimidated.

It's old news. Folks are tired of hearing the President being bashed on the same thing over and over and over again. This will have little impact.

There are two areas folks will vote on: the economy and the War on Terror which include Iraq. Both are strong for Bush. Bush will win.
