HEINZ-KERRY, KENNETH LAY, ENRON CONNECTION !!
The Fox News Channel | 7/9/04 | GeorgeW23225

Posted on 07/09/2004 1:26:29 PM PDT by GeorgeW23225

Just on the Fox News Channel.............

A Heinz-Kerry, Kenneth Lay, Enron connection.

It seems that Kenneth Lay was not only a guest of John and Teraaazzzaaa at their Georgetown Mansion, BUT.....he was on the board of directors of the Heinz Foundation. In turn, Terrraaaazzza had over $250,000 in Enron stock.

I wonder if we should tell Michael Moore ??? :-)

Stay tuned. This could be interesting..........

Unless you've got some inside info that the Heinz-Kerrys influenced Lay or helped him in some specific way, you should drop this. IMO.

I don't think so. this is exactly the kind of juicy tidbit that makes the NY Times front page when Repubs are involved. How many days have we heard about Cheney's addicted doctor? How many of your liberal acquaintances still point to Ken Lay as Bush's friend? Forgetting of course, that Lay was misbehaving badly back in the Clinton administration. So having Lay on Teresa's BOARD is a real, undeniable connection to her househusband.

Even if that is true, Lay got "goodies" from Clinton. He got NADA from President Bush. Do you think that picture has been the picture portrayed by the liberal media??If you do, I've got some ocean front property in Nevada for you.......

I'm trying to find the article, but I read something about this earlier today and IIRC it said she sold her stock in 1995.

"completer"

You need some series grammer help. The correct way to say it is "more completer."

I disagree. I bet Nader never had Ken Lay over. I bet Nader never owned Enron stock. I bet some anti-capitalist Dims might switch to Nader because of consorting with capitalists like this?

No "reach" here. The point is: Did you know about this before Fox News broke the story??? Didn't you think that President Bush had the "Enron" connection?? At least that is what we were being told by the liberal media. Now, it turns out that Clinton did. And now team Heinz-Kerry enter stage left. I find that interesting, and I think that Michael Moore should investigate immediately!! Afterall, fair is fair, isn't it???

Exactly! Heck, wasn't Clinton the one who personally set up the Indian deal which was one of the biggest mistakes in Enron's history? Lay was on numerous Commerce Department travels with the CLinton administration, as he was also on his Council of Economic Advisors...working for passage of Kyoto, were Enron could've made big bucks.

I also seem to recall a story about Clinton's ex-Treasurer...Rubin, who after joining Citigroup, actually called the Bush administration to get them to artificially inflate Enron's credit rating so they could continue to barrow against their already declining credit. This should've been a big story...as should the fact that none of Clinton's people adhered to his own EO ordering them to stay away from lobbying for 5 years.

Guys, Enron was a big company. They had dealings with many many political figures. Bush, Clinton, etc. It's a non-issue. Let it die.

Want to ensure Ralph Nader gets on the ballot in your state? Go to:

http://www.votenader.org/

Check out the upper left hand corner of the page.

Help them with their petition drive in your state if applicable. At the very least sign their petition. Really want to have some fun, circulate a petition around among friends and family.

Let’s support democracy. Get Ralph on the ballot in as many states as possible.

And, what influence did Ken Lay have on Bush?

Aparently none. The one thing Enron wanted Bush to do was to impose CO2 limitations which would have significantly boosted the value of Enron's natural gas holdings. The Bush administration refused to limit CO2 which made the Rats go into spasms and screwed Enron big time.

Over four months ago, I personally pointed out the Teresa/Kenny Boy connection to Judy Woodruff: http://lonewacko.com/blog/archives/001006.html

A connection, yes, but what Dims and Libs look for is a connection with probable cause. They can tout the line that President Bush was influenced by Lay, because of donations and Lay's presence in those meetings.

What is mentioned in this thread doesn't fall into that category. So Lay and Heinz were on the same board. Where's the beef?

There might be beef, but it isn't here yet. Until then, you're chasing your tail on this one.

IMO.
