WEATHERVANE EDWARDS [07/09 09:15 AM]
Remember Iraq?
Not too long ago, that was Issue One in the presidential race. It may return to the biggest and most important, once John Kerry and John Edwards have used up the younger candidate's "Two Americas" shtick. And it will be worthwhile to recall just how much of a flip-flopping opportunist the number-two man on the Democratic ticket can be.
When taking on Saddam Hussein was popular with the public, Edwards was all for it and leading the arguments favoring the use of force. When it became unpopular with Democratic-primary voters, he suddenly shifted his tune.
Now, as American troops continue the hard work of helping the new Iraqi government secure the country and build a free society, Edwards calls the war "needless."

Two Americas...?
Yes, and as some other wise soul here recently opined, there is...
...one interested in creating wealth,
...and one interested (only) in REDISTRIBUTING it.

John Edwards used to support the troops, and their Defense of America too... ...Before he didn't. Just goes to show how wrong they have been for the only reason for "them" to support or not support anything is for political favor.
Thus all the flip flopping.
The wind burns on their fingers have got to be painful!

Edwards calls the war "needless." HE'S the needless one! I've never see the likes of a Presidential Campaign putting the VP on the ticket just to gain votes. How often do we hear anything out of the VP's?
Now, VP Chaney is going to be forced to be out front to get his say in. Pretty Boy Floyd won't give him a chance, and the media won't either. So, Cheney better get his foot in the door real quick.
What a filthy dirty bunch the Rats have turned into.

Maybe a partial answer for the Bush camp might be some variant of:
"Cheney is too busy with the needs of the country to spend the next four months playing parlor games with the likes of Edwards, and giving him lessons on what it means to be a good Vice President." ...?
...Just a thought.
