Maybe it's just me, but I've always been of the opinion that there is room for both - Prayer alone will never do anything - a combination or Prayer AND Action, on the other hand, is what is necessary.
Personally, I think God also feels that way - He doesn't want to do everything for us. He wants us to help ourselves (Free Will), too, and if we at least try by taking action in combination with prayer, he may decide to give you a hand :0)
But, I'm a cynic ;0)

No doubt these anti-corporate anarchists rely on corporations for their food, clothing, shelter and transportation, just like the rest of us. I guess playing at being an anarchist gets you more chicks in some leftist circles.

[If you did something beside pray, maybe decide to fight these j@ckasses, we wouldn't be a "dying nation". Just a thought.]
For those of us who trust in Jesus Christ for salvation by grace through faith (His atoning death for our sins and resurrection on the third day for our salvation), prayer is a fight that God will honor if we pray according to His will.
" The prayers of a righteous man(saved by Jesus) availeth much".
