NEW YORK - There was quite the toy "furor" over Barbie's end of her relationship with longtime Ken. Mattel has moved her on to her new friend Blane. But if one toymaker has their way - Barbie might be inclined to meet Bobbie.

The NY papers had the story...the "Bobbie" doll was developed by a woman who last her wrote a thesis on the pressing and most important issue of why lesbians are so "under represented in pop culture".
