How about looking at the title of the article? Right there it says HOMOSEXUAL!

I agree with other posters, we sure won't hear about this in the national media. However if someone insults a gay/lesbian it makes the national news.

My point is that it's fine to criticize the crime and suggest various punishments for the perp, but it's not ok to take this case and suggest that it implies all sorts of things about an entire group of people.

NOBODY here has said it is just homosexuals, just that it more often homosexuals. Anyone who sexually assaults a baby deserves the worst punishment we can think of. If the baby also DIES as a result of the attack, the perp deserves EVERY worst punishment we can think of.
