Agreed. Li'l Ron's fame is based on not being his dad. A lukewarm accomplishment, if you ask me.

M2C, I believe that's a small version of the same larger-than-life bronze that stands at the front doors of the RWR library. When you go there, you'll see what I mean.

There will be a USS NIXON before a USS BILLYJEFF!Let's hope it never happens. If it ever does, I hope it's long after I'm gone. Don't ever want to know about it.

A lukewarm accomplishment, if you ask me.I wouldn't even go so far as to call it lukewarm or an accomplishment. Ron 'P'rissy is a rich, spoiled Hollywood kid who didn't have the looks or talent to make it in show business. Instead of recognizing his own shortcomings, he blamed his inability to have a career (and maybe some peer razzing in his schooldays) on his father's politics. He's been "punishing" his father ever since. (And I didn't need no stinking $400-an-hour Hollyweird shrink to figure out the obvious.)

I believe some SoCal FR Chapters are planning a FReeper welcome!Really?! Do you know any of the chapters that are participating? Even though I can't go since I'll be at work, maybe we can spread the word.

I'm sure the old man is looking down from heaven and smiling at his true heir, Michael. The Good Lord sent Michael to Ronald Reagan as a baby for a reason. I think now we know what that reason was.

I think Michael Reagan will speak at the convention and show himself to be the true ideological/spiritual heir to Reagan.

WOO-HOO!
We need to get organized.
Three of us who live here in San Diego,
(CyberAnt, doodlelady and I) plan to attend.
CyberAnt mentioned that we might host
a voter registration booth or table.
I know doodlelady and I are attending the festivities.
Need to know where and how to contact y'all so
we can meet as a group. I will FR mail my telephone
number.

Do you remember at the funeral out here in Simi when Michael spoke? He said he was the CHOSEN son...and they panned over to Jr., and he put his head down as if in disbelief (or some stupid thing....)
I'm thinking of changing the tag line again...

PING to #74.
I'll telephone Travis McGee,
since he's not on line while he's
writing his book. I think he'll
want to attend this!

Isn't it interesting that the two most sought after people by the Kerry campaign are a Republican, John McCain, and a Reagan. Other than Bill Clinton and Al Gore, I don't know who any of the democrats are.

Michael said if Ron want's to speak at the Democrat convention, it's up to him, but the only reason the Dems want him is because his name is Ron Reagan. Ouch...that's gonna leave a mark. And I couldn't agree more.
Number 1 and 1a of political people that I would like to meet: Dubya and Michael Reagan. Sure, there are others, but those would have to be the top two.

From what I've heard, RonP's commentary IS the dog show...

Boy I sure wish I lived closer. Haven't seen a ship's arrival since '67 when I was on board looking down on the sea of faces on the pier looking for Mrsdd.
I'm thinking of changing the tag line again...
Excellent BG!
