Whatever. These demonstrators accomplished exactly nothing.
I think it's a bit presumptuous for you, far away from the Bahamas, to state that "nothing was accomplished". How do you know? Maybe the protest stirred up people, who may now be more aware of the "gay" agenda. Maybe more parents will educate their children about what homosexuality really is.
Maybe more people in the Bahamas will look into what homosexual activists really want, and protect their country from crap like "gay" marriage now.
I don't understand how you, sitting nice and warm in whatever state you live in, can say "nothing" was accomplished. They didn't have the protest to influence or impress you!
OK, fine, so you're a good Rotary-club Republican who puts great stock in "getting things done" -- like Bob Dole, who got his head handed to him in 1996.
Now, try again. Did their demonstrating annoy you? Did you want them to stay home and stop embarrassing you? Do you want them to go away so we can all concentrate on Things That Matter -- like next quarter's productivity numbers?
They certainly be not changing anyones mind on the matter.
I disagree. Normally I'd agree with you that disrupting someone's vacation would be a waste. However, this was also a very public celebration intended to legitimize what many would consider deviancy. If the demonstrators slightly tainted the celebration of a much publicized vacation of aberrants and deviates, I'd say something was accomplished.
