There is a new commercial out for John Kerry. It is a (SURPRISE) viet nam based commercial.
It has edwards trying to lawyer argue that kerry is good for security because there are five people/veterans who support him.
It has edwards speaking at a podium saying that in viet nam these five vets found out the nature of kerry's resolve (in the three months he was there.)
It is also worth noting that it is Kerry using edwards as a mouthpiece. I see it as a lawyer arguing to the Jury of the voting public. Not wise/good for them.
I call this a back step because the picture used is just the five. He has abandoned the wider picture that included the veterans that are openly opposed to Kerry/Backwards.
Those other veterans are just "partisan" hacks who "must have a book deal".
This is why kerry is so 9/10.
It was politicians like kerry who made vietnam a mess rather than a victory.
That would be me. :-)
Only five?
That shouldn't have been too financially concerning to their campaign payoff reserve....
The commercial is funny.
You have a very very tight shot of edwards (used where there is no crowd) and only shots upwards like you are looking up at edwards. (very lawyered)
The picture of the "five" is five old men standing on rocks/boulders over a flowing river. A downward angle shot. (to imply as if the five are "in the crowd" looking up at edwards)
Its as if the five were just budies on their way to white water rafting.
Kerry/Backwards are desperatly trying to use cinamatography to make you forget who kerry is. Another liberal NUT from mass. (nobody mentions he was Dukakis' protoge. Dukakis will be MIA at the convention)
Go here and click on "How many vets support Kerry". It shows the real picture. Click on the picture to see how many REALLY support him. http://kerrylied.com/
Sorry, go to bottom right and click "No John Kerry"
That would be me. :-)
kerry has no idea how many of us are really, really dead set against him. I have yet to meet a veteran who supports him. Personally, I wouldn't pi$$ on him if his hair were on fire.
I would, but not on the fire.
The problem is there may be many vets, BUT the DNC is working overtime to register neverbefore voters.
The NAACP has an office in miami dedicated to registering black voters. (92% voted for gore)
I think there needs to be a televised commercial with the soldiers in the 1960 group picture which states:
"I was in viet nam during Kerry's three months there, and when he recieved his "wounds". I am not voting for Kerry."
and repeat this and then image after image saying "I am voting for President Bush."
So, now they are running highly edited photos? Will someone ask F'n Kerry where are the other men that are in the original photo? Why are they not in your ad?
Maybe we'll get some direct answers during the Presidential Debate.....
Mr. Kerry: Please tell us, in your own words, just how wonderful you are...
I find that hard to believe. I was living in MA at the time, (not voting for either I might add) and Dukaka was/is a
micro-manager. I think was Lt. Gov for less than two years before he ran for Tsongas' seat.
To John Kerry and all the other Traitors
Gee, I don't know what happened
When I left we were winning!
If Kerry used an old picture and edited out the servicemen that protested, this would make a great ad for BushCheney04!
I know a lawyer who had a similar Edwards "well prepared" reputation. He was very well rehearsed, but could not operate after any surprise. Edward's weakness is that he is trying to lawyer himself through this campaign.
You bring up an old point, Kerry is hiding because he wants to pretend people do not know him.
The problem for the DNC is that we know who and what kerry is. No amount of hiding will change that.
It was part of a story about who will not be speaking at the DNC convention.
