Kerry: Bush to Pull US Troops out of Iraq Before Elections

US Democratic Party presidential candidate John F. Kerry disclosed earlier today that if he wins the presidential elections on November 2, he has three conditions that would have to be met before he would pull American troops out of Iraq. In addition Kerry claims that his rival US President George W. Bush plans to withdraw American soldiers from Iraq prior to the elections.

Kerry told the Wall Street Journal that if he is elected the next president of the US he would make the decision to withdraw the troops based on the conditions on the ground, the duration of stability and the ability of the Iraqi security forces to defend their country. He did not give a definite timetable.

Kerry also alleged that Bush would withdraw 140,000 troops from Iraq in order to gain support before the elections.

White House Spokeswoman Suzy De-Francis denied Kerry's claim.

Let's see, in the world according to the dems, this is going to happen after GWB's "October surprise" of Osama Ben Laden. We've heard that scenario, too.

"John Kerry does not want to lead this country, he wants to be president."

That my friend should be the commercial that Bush runs for the next 100 days. You summed it up beautifully. Hope you do not mind, that is my new tagline.

That's it. Proof once again the man is insane and not fit to be president.

Perhaps Kerry should encourage our troups to scratch themselves 3 times and return home with multiple Purple Hearts? Worked for him.

Wow, this Kerry guy is shameless. He votes against supporting the troops. Says Bush is doing it all wrong in Iraq. Then Kerry takes all of Bush's positions on when and under what conditions we will pull out of Iraq and calls them his own.

He is certainly shameless. It is so obvious that he is using these fabricated comments for political gain and then he has the nerve to say "I'd put nothing past them. I have no idea what they're going to do. But I'm prepared for any political move." Sheesh!

Dims deeply saddened, Kerry very worried. Good for America, bad for Kerry.

"But if they are withdrawn from Iraq before the election, it would only be because they had moved to IRAN!!!"

LOL! Not a bad idea, that...

In the meantime- I hate to bust Kerry's balloon...but my son is active duty- just returned from Iraq in February...and they're training to go back this fall...

Kerry is definitely a "pud", but more than that he is a two-faced liar and an anti-American one at that. He has ridden the coattails of others plus the wealth of his ex-wives and has achieved nothing on his own.

If Kerry was a Republican, the press would have a field day with his lack of achievements.

This story is pure BS....if Bush was withdrawing 140,000 troops before the election, he would be doing it right now....it would be a logistical nightmare to wait...no way it could happen...it took over 3 months to swap-out OIF 1 to OIF 2 and that was just reinforcements, not complete troop withdrawal.........

Yeah, it's amusing to watch a left-winger pretend he's not, in order to get elected.

We've already got a president who will do that. Oh, and thanks for not voting to fund the troops, a-hole.
George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent

I'll keep the troops in and Bush will pull them out so I am the hawk??????????? This is an outright lie aimed at the so-called independents. Note to mhking, this guy isn't fit to be even a dogcatcher.
