Berger Steps Down As Kerry Adviser

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former national security adviser Sandy Berger, the subject of a criminal investigation over the disappearance of terrorism documents, stepped aside on Tuesday as an informal adviser to Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.

"Mr. Berger does not want any issue surrounding the 9/11 commission to be used for partisan purposes. With that in mind he has decided to step aside as an informal adviser to the Kerry campaign until this matter is resolved," said Lanny Breuer, Berger's attorney.

The investigation had threatened to become a political problem for Kerry a week before his nominating convention in Boston in which he hopes to persuade voters that he is ready to be commander in chief. The cornerstone of Kerry's argument against Bush is that he used faulty intelligence and poor judgment in waging war against Iraq.

Now what did Kerry know and when did he know it? How many other national security criminals are there on Kerry's staff? Why does he continue to retain Joe Wilson?

It says a lot about the judgment of the Democrats they're defending two people one of whom is under criminal investigation and other exposed as a liar. When it comes to national security, the Democrats couldn't find their behind with their two hands. And they're asking us to trust them with the White House?? They must be joking!

If your newspapers did not adequately cover this story, please not only write the editors but ALSO their advertisors. A great grass roots effort would be for all of us to write to the advertisors and tell them we won't buy the papers that are biased. Don't forget to send a copy to the editors

Oh, no. Berger certainly wouldn't want that. I mean, removing classified information related to Clinton and Al Qaeda wouldn't be the least bit "partisan," now would it?

The fat degenerate and liar can't even tell the truth when he's just had his career destroyed by his own stupidity.

the subject of a criminal investigation over the disappearance of terrorism documents

Notice the AP's use of the passive voice: "the disappearance of terrosim documents," as if Harry Houndini is responsible.
Note to AP: The documents didn't disappear. Berger took them."

How noble of you, Mr Berger.

Assuming he didn't tell Kerry about this investigation, he's got zero nobility.

If he did tell Kerry, and Kerry kept him, Kerry's got zero judgment.
