CNN reports DoJ has turned down several Berger offers to cut a deal and quotes prosecutor Comey saying Berger's been warned he could do jail time.
If this was a "third rate burglary" (shades of Watergate), then I suppose Sandy Berger, instead of being "Deep Throat," is "Deep Pockets"?

The low life democraps are trying to say that this is no big deal. There is some idiot gal on Scarborough right now trying to say that all he took were duplicates and that nothing is missing.....Joe pointed out that the Achives folks have said that is not the case and there are documents that are gone for good. Would not matter if they were third copies. It was a violation of Federal Law to take the documents period...duplicate or not.
I have been seeing this all day...dems saying that nothing was wrong with what he did. I guess they don't see a problem with violations of federal laws as the relate to national security.

You should have seen demo strategist Peter Berger (I think that's his last name) and the outstanding Ann Coulter on Hannity and Colmes. Peter went crazy and allowed Sean to cut his microphone. Ann simply pointed out the leftist spin and Peter's hysteria and let the democrap shoot his own foot. Even Allan tried to shut him up.

The dems most likely leaked the info on this investigation.
Knowing they might be able to make the Republicans look bad since the info came out right before the Convention. And I would not be surprised if the issue gets dropped...because too many of the GOP types will cave under the pressure...they always do. Hopefully the Justice Department will stand firm.
Berger Broke the law. IF another high ranking DC goon walks on a major crime like this......a lot of Americans will lose what little faith they have in the DC folks.
Call your Congressman and Senators tomorrow and demand that Berger be prosecuted. There is no way he made an inadvertant mistake. This stuff is marked and in colored folders--it isn't an easy thing to pilfer this stuff.
Berger needs to go to jail--even after he sings like the yellow canary he is.

This is the statement that Republicans better harp on for the next few months. The fact that a major Kerry advisor (funny how he was touted as close advisor and did not become informal until today) stole classified documents and has not and will not return them all.
I noticed where they are reporting that he cannot find some documents........HMMMMMMMMMMMM.

I caught that. Then I turned back to Made In America on the travel channel. Now I am watching Road Trip on the Travel channel...they are traveling through some places I have lived and roamed well here in the Lone Star State.
But watching the lib self destruct on Hannity and Idiot was the best part of tonights viewing schedule.

I love how RatherBiased spun the story, emphasizing the timing, rather than the substance, of the leak. He was clearly pissed off that he had to report this story, which was much less important than the PETA spy in a poultry factory. Of course, his lead story was about four KIAs in Iraq. THAT's what he really wants to talk about. No bias there.
