A few minutes ago I posted here about Linda Ronstadt. No swearing, no personal insults. Other posters here viciously attacked and insulted Ronstadt, their posts remain. My post got deleted within minutes. Are you guys really that scared? I believe in free speech and the exchange of opinions, obviously you don't. Mr Robinson, answer me: on what basis was my post deleted? I almost feel compelled to post on various other websites how I doubled up laughing about the cowardice on display here. Again, show me your courage please, cheers from the Leftist Dutchman!

So you are a Saddam supporter, well guess what Saddam had 12 years to come clean and he didn't.

Now we find out that his supporters were making ill gotten gains with the scam of "Oil for rotten Food" program, and those same supporters did everything in their power to protect their gains and old Saddam.

You want to point to "Amnesty Int'l, Human Rights Watch" as credible place to make yourself credible. Saddam was butchering, starving his own people and funding terrorists, and obviously that doesn't seem to bother you one little bit.

You seemed to have been seduced into the Cult of Clintonism, that ignores reality of the situation and point the finger of lying accusation without a clarity of mind as to what was and is still going on.

We in America removed a murdering, butchering, thieving dictator and seek to give "FREEDOM" to the millions of Iraqis who have known no other life.

It's funny and somewhat unsettling...just because I disagree on numerous issues with the communis opinio here, I get insults, piccies with weaponry and knives, and so on. Yep...it's called accountability. You should try it sometime. People actually respect you when you become accountable for your actions. Why do you think Bill Clinton is no longer respected? Because he was never ACCOUNTABLE for his actions/misdeeds in office - he just blamed someone else (the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, etc...).

Very interesting statement, but a half- truth. Islamic culture is still preserved as it was 1,000 years ago. Fortunately, Western Civilization has progress in the last, oh, 1,200 years. The Islamic so-called “culture” has not. One of problems with Islam (amongst many) is that it wants to make the whole of civilization retreat to a time 1,200 years ago. If you are okay with that, move to Afghanistan.

Do you have any evidence that the broad Iraqi public wish the war hadn't happened? Or the Afghans, for that matter? If it turns out they're glad to be rid of Hussein and the Taliban (Hint: they are), does that make any difference in your view?
