That will just anger the archives folks and they will be willing to talk to investigators even more. The dems are in full panic mode.....and it looks obvious.Yes, you are so right. I think Berger is in big trouble. I can read it on his bloated, lying moonface.

Kerry is so nailed, nuances and talking points can't help him out of the noose he is in!
Of course the Media need to report it.!!!

But to me, it looks like the security people WERE doing their jobs according to the rules they had back then.
Am I wrong?

York doesn't think the Burgler thing reaches up to the higher levels of the Kerry campaign. Just reporting his comment.I don't think so either. If Kerry benefitted from Berger's purloined docs he'd be clueless that the info came from ill-gotten gain. Berger didn't do it to benefit Kerry, though he may have shared the wealth, is my take on it at this point.

It all depends on what the meaning of "take" is.
Does anyone know WHAT Burglar did before Cinton plucked him for National SECURITY Advisor??? I heard he was a Labor Lawyer, but that can't be right. He was a Security/Foreign POLICY Expert....right?

Yep. Kudos to the lady with the gun and the badge.
Hey...I heard somewhere today that one of the documents that Berger took talked about how the mill. bomb plot being stopped was not part of any Clinton directive...rather the work of an attentive agent.
Does anybody know if that is true...is that one of the docs he took? If so....it looks even worse for the Clintonistas.

Gergen has lost all credibility! When did he ever have any?

Reminds me of Al Gore claiming his father championed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, when actually his father voted against it in 1964Speaking of taking credit for things, Arlen Sphincter was nice enough to GIVE all the "credit" to Lee Harvey Oswald. ;-)

Aren't the rules now that they can't pull over more than two middle eastern looking men?

I keep trying to tell everybody that I watch Chrissy for nothing more than the comedy.
Matthews' Hardball is the funniest thing on tv since Seinfeld.
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
I love the fact that Kerry is sitting in that chair, forced to admit that HE didn't know his own "informal" foreign policy advisor was under investigation and that Bill Clinton didn't bother to tell him.........LOL.

I'm not watching the Lisa Myers/Chris mathews thing...but I'm steaming mad!
Saxby Chambliss was on HARDBALL, wasn't mean or nasty about Berger at all, then Mathews had on a former Berger staffer who ripped Chambliss a new one, brought up the old democrat canard about how he unfairly whupped up on poor crippled, triple amputee Cleland and took his senate seat away from him. It was brutal...AND none of it is true.
I'm calling Chambliss office tomorrow and ask him to demand a chance to go back on Hardball and refute her nasty allegations.

I'm confused. Isn't this a live thread for a Hardball show that has yet to be run at 9:00 Eastern?

Did he not know his national security advisor was under investigation? Bah, Kerry just says stuff. It has no meaning.Olberman just played clips of a Brokaw interview with Kerry (does anyone know when it will air in full? I'm indifferent on catching it, but might if it's convenient). Anyway, Kerry said he "didn't have a clue". In fact, he said it three times.
I'm not sure if I believe him. On the one hand, I think of Kerry as quite clueless and can imagine Clinton and Berger keeping him in the dark. On the other hand, Kerry is a liar and so one can't take his word for anything.
