Al-Jazeera grabs spot in DNC convention
Boston Herald ^ | July 21, 2004 | Dave Wedge

Posted on 07/22/2004 4:27:39 AM PDT by anita

It's been called everything from the CNN of the Arab world toTaliban TV. Next week, though, the controversial Al-Jazeera network will for the first time at a political convention take its place alongside other major networks in a skybox, providing live coverage of the Democratic National Convention from the FleetCenter.

Critics have charged that the Qatar-based network is a mouthpiece for Osama bin Laden because it has aired several unedited videos of the terrorist leader that some say could be spreading deadly messages to al-Qaeda sleeper cells. Adding fuel to the anti-American criticism is the network's airing of gruesome beheadings of captured Americans and others.

Kerry already has Bin Laden support. May be after this, he will get extended support from Hamas, Hesbollah & the like.

Maybe Al-Jeez has a 'heads-up' on a very special event to occur in Boston next week?

Hmmmmm?
First, hitlery lets 'slip' her comment about taking away for the "greater good".
Now they openly allow the propaganda arm of the DNC/islamofascist alliance at the convention.

Wadup?

They can get a 'feed' from someone else, or get tape from someone else, but allowing them to be there is disgusting.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Just yesterday was a post about San Francisco trying to get illegals to vote.

Why not just have everyone from every country cast absentee ballots for the American presidency? This is precisely what the Dems would prefer, and they'll appreciate any help Al Jazeera can give.

Well i wonder if the will be in NYC for the republicans.

Can you imagine the bad press the Dems get if they throw praises on Kerry. Where is the China networks and French?

Why shouldn't al jazeera cover the democrat convention? After all, Osama bin Ladin has endorsed John Kerry.

This really does show what the democrat party has become: the party of treason!

It is comparable to a party (during WWII) inviting the Nazi news service to cover their convention.

I am not surprised that Terrorist TV is there. Kerry is their candidate after all. An "Enemy of my enemy is my friend" situation.

How about EVERYBODY reading the entire article (what a novel idea) then you'd know that they'll ALSO be at the republican convention also. Jumping on every partial report without verifying anything, and then getting histerical kinda reminds me of ....... DEMOCRATS....sheesh

They are "Jihad on the Spot" when there's trouble. Why the heck do we still allow these people within our borders?
