While yer at it (and because I know yer not busy enough already...) Would it be possible to allow the >poster< of an article edit the header? I.e. Misspellings in the headline (well that might be unwise), but especially the url links, keywords, author, date and other article info.
I just posted an article from the Paki Daily Times and left the "a" out of "Daily". Can't tell you how many times my stupid self hits the "post" button, only to realize too late that something is wrong in the header.
Not a biggie, but just something for the wish list.

BTW, it might be a moot issue.
I want bump/ping lists that allow people to subscribe. When the name of the list is used in the To: field, everybody subscribed is pinged via their My Comments.
If you get the impression this stuff is in flux, you are correct. I have a general idea where I want to take this stuff, lots of ideas, and enough code now to make things happen.

Hey, it's an unrelated issue, but is there a way to review old posts that we made, like from years ago? I would like to go back and read what I wrote at various times.
So far, the only way is to go to the 'my comments' page and continuously click the 'show more posts' option. Well, that takes forever if you're looking for something you said 2 or 3 years ago.
Any ideas?

With a little work freepers can find all their old posts at alltheweb.
Over on the right hand side, if you select 'Messages' instead of 'Threads' you will see the latest posts for all threads. A 'Bump' will appear at the top of that list until the next posting, and folks might spot a now-buried thread.
In the old days, before sidebars and topics (and all of John's other masterful work), it would be the only way to spot an important, but older thread.
