"Let's tell the voters what we stand for, not only what we stand against."

Terry, just tell us you're against decency and leave it at that. We'll believe you!

A "Registered Republican" (the bottom tagline read) was hosting a neighborhood party and was interviewed, of course, espousing the wonders of Kerry and Edwards.

LOL, just like a FR troll.

Kerry operatives are editing convention speeches, sources say, with only Al Gore and Ted Kennedy believed to be off-limits.

Al Gore and Ted Kennedy "off-limits"? Oh, well, then, there certainly shouldn't be any Bush-bashing!

Al Gore has got to be excstatic over this. I can hear him mumbling now..."They like me, they NEED me...! I'm not a loser after all...

Top Kerry strategist Bob Shrum is also warning not to turn the convention into a default Hate Bush rally.

Now that's a real American platform to run on: "We won't Bash Bush this week. It keeps us strong against the terrorists, will grow jobs by 5,000%, and all Americans will be better off for everyone, including the UN memebers and every creature on the Planet Earth, for the next 12,000 years..."

These people want to make me expel dinner.

Now that all the speeches have been edited, we find that we have time for a LOT more speakers.

This will be the most entertaining comedy of the season. An entire stadium filled with weirdos, freaks, psych patients, sexual perverts and criminally insane...all brought together just to enterain us. It will surely provide for some great material here on FR.

They can't help themselves. After issuing a standard disclaimer they wouldn't be Bush bashing--or at least devoting themselves to it--They clearly are revving up for a total immersion of "We hate George Bush and you should, too!!!"

The Wellstone funerally will look like a model of decorum compared to this convention, I'll bet.

It only goes to show that the Democrats are genetically incapable of showing any dignity or self control whatsoever.

Well, Stainman exhibited that trait when he was, (as Rush would say), in the Oral Office.

Maybe this is why cbs nbc and abc aren't covering much of it. They don't want it to turn off the "undecideds".

I'm amazed that anyone could be undecided but apparently the dims figure they are out there somewhere.

We tried to listen to Kerry explain his "healthcare" and we both just sat looking at one another. He lost us. Talk about boring you to death but the main point is that Kerry doesn't know anything about healthcare.

DNC chair Terry McAuliffe has expressed concern that nonstop Bush bashing from the podium could quickly spiral out of control and backfire.

No! No! Go for it! ;-)

But the temptation to rip Bush without mercy is proving to be too much for many of the speakers.

Yes! Yes! ;-)

When I think Democrats, I think...

Wellstone funeral: "WE WILL WIN! WE WILL WIN!"

Gore meltdown: "HE BETRAYED THIS COUNTRY! HE PLAYED
ON OUR FEARS!!"

Shrillary: "I AM SICK AND TIRED of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic," a shrill-sounding Clinton shouted during her address to Connecticut's Jefferson Jackson Bailey dinner.

"We should stand up and say, we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration," she shrieked. (source: NewsMax.com)

Jesse Jackson: "America, stay out the Bushes!" (sic)

Michael Moore: "We like fiction and we live in fictitious
times where we elect a fictitious president..."

Howard Dean: "Yeaaarrrgggggh!"

etc.
