They will bash Bush.... and while they're at it, I hope they bash the Boy Scouts like they did in 2000. I hope they tell us how they're gonna take back our tax break and take our guns..........
Please.....let it all hang out.

Chances are good that the delegates will "turn the convention into a default Hate Bush rally." I just hope the media camera crews can't resist showing all the signs all the time.

McAuliffe has reportedly given orders to senior staff that hard-core Bush bashing should be saved for other forums and surrogates. And we all know how good Terry is at keeping his troops in line. </sarcasm>
He might be able to keep his closest friends in line, but most of the rank-and-file delegates want red meat, and they're going to get it somewhere, somehow, as well as give it (through signs, interviews, screaming, and the like). And it will be covered by the media, who are otherwise going to be bored out of their minds. Mark my words.

Yeah, Varitek and A-Rod started it and the next thing you know--oops, that was the Red Sox-Yankees game at Fenway! :)
Actually, yeah, I saw a scroll on one of the news channels saying that an anti-abortion/anti-gay protestor was trying to hold a sign up and someome tried to get them to put it down, etc. Oh, here it is, from Yahoo News:
""This is just the beginning of a week of protests," said Larry Holmes, spokesman for Act Now to Stop War and End Racism, a [Communist :)] coalition of activist groups that staged the march. Several blocks away, about 1,000 anti-abortion advocates gathered at Faneuil Hall... and set off on their own march to the FleetCenter.
The two groups crossed paths at an intersection and exchanged angry words. A brief scuffle broke out between some of the peace demonstrators and a man carrying a graphic anti-abortion sign. The man was pushed to the ground and his shirt was torn but he appeared unhurt.
Some of the anti-abortion marchers lay in the street but soon stood up at the request of the police, and the two marches continued their separate ways following a few minutes of confusion.
Two people were taken into custody but police said the Secret Service did not release their names immediately. A woman was arrested near Faneuil Hall on disorderly conduct charges, the Secret Service said. An anti-war protester was taken into custody near City Hall for questioning but was not arrested, according to police and the Secret Service" etc.
btw most of the protest groups are probably on the LEFT side of the aisle--stuff like ANSWER and moveontocommunism.org (as Laura Ingraham calls 'em!)

I'm a little confused. Why are they taking orders from Boy McAuliffe again? Didn't he screw up what should have been Clinton's sure-thing veep victory in 2000?

Stuart Smally (Franken) is drunk as a skunk on Hardball and making a total ass out of himself. Bashing Bush and saying Bush betrayed his country. What an ass. Keep it up Smally. The crowd was going wild.

They won't be able to help themselves. The hatred of the President is so strong, this will be a Bush bash from beginning to end.

Like a lot of others I've been hoping that super loonies really show up in force. It's like Close Encounters of the third kind. When the weirdos start getting shoved into the background they can shout "but we were invited". The DNC knows they have their vote and no longer need them. I just saw some fighting on TV already. Sorry, the Close Encounters thing might be a little vague.

Democrats practice self-restraint? Hahaha
This is going to be an ugly convention. Let all of America see how consumed with hate these people are.

With crazy Howard Dean and Wacky Al Gore speaking, there has to be at least one meltdown to look forward to watching. We can only hope that Al is "off his meds" on the night he gives the speech.
