Joe Scarborough Jumped the Shark --total Kerry shill

Posted on 07/26/2004 8:41:25 PM PDT by faithincowboys

Scarborough is a total loser. I am in shock. He basically said, "I would feel safe going to bed at night with John Kerry, who turned the boat towards the enemy, in the White House."

Nevermind that Kerry abandoned the troops after voting for the War. Nevermind that Kerry's Senate record is putrid and irresponsible. Using Scarborough's bs criteria, John Kerry would have been a better choice in '84 than Reagan.

Scarborough is trying to get Fineman, Matthews, Mitchell and Wille Brown to like him. Scarborough will probably be on the Today Show tommorow-- he is such a useful, mouth breathing idiot.

You didn't hear about that? He apologized on one of the morning shows, maybe GMA.

"I work at an investment banking firm and do a lot of business in DC and was told that many low level members of the administration have been told to plan their 'exit strategy' and have been sucking up to the Dems and Kerry people in hopes of staying on next year." I stood there thinking to myself that it looks like there will be a lot of jumping ship if Bush doesn't pull ahead in the polls soon. I don't think the confidence is there to wait for a late surge in Sept/Oct."

You ought to get original. This was posted during the 2000 campaign. It then was directed at the Clintoon clowns. They did manage to get the silver-ware.

I don't know anybody who reads USA Today, but I know many people who read Ann's "Spawn of Satan" piece because of all the publicity.

She doesn't work for the McPaper, this was a special commission, and she has already cashed the check.

"letsgetsomeruns" has been booted. I suspect he's a troll, with this "I work at an investment banking firm" and he, somehow knows what's going on with members of the Bush administration.

Bush is ahead in the polls, now. I don't expect Kerry to get much out of this convention.

"The guy also freaks out when he is ever criticized. I think O'Reilly is a nut case. In the right environment, I think he would have Saddam Hussein tendencies. I'm serious."

I forgot about his comments that drudge plays on the intro to his show...O'Reilly is saying in an interview "Drudge is smokin crack, kill Matt Drudge".

He does take the critcism personally, especially Franken. I feel that he critcizes Bush just to appease the left. I get tired of him comparing the far right to the far left, saying that what happened to vincent foster is a kook conspiracy theory.

Clinton might have knocked it out of the park for those who consider him still worthy to address this country after the disgrace he brought upon the office he held. If Bill Clinton was a Republican he would be in jail for the things he got away with.

For that convicted liar like Bill Clinton to question this Presidents credibility is an insult to any God fearing American. His speech might have been delivered well, but it rings hollow to those who know him for what he is.

Now we can brace ourselves for the incomprehensible rantings of Ted Kennedy tomorrow night as he gives a speech about Values and Honesty on the anniversary of the drowning death of Mary Jo when his car plunged into the Chappaquiddick.

Then we will hear from Dennis Kucinich and Howard Dean... Two men who wouldn't think twice before handing our national security over to the U.N. and establishing a world court to prosecute our Troops for political purposes.

Then we will be treated to John Kerry accepting the Nomination from all these socialist bastards who ignore the fact that he came back from his 4 months of service to slander everyone of his fellow soldiers who fought and died in Vietnam. The same SOB who voted against every major weapon system we have in theater today.

The same John Kerry who voted for the Iraq War only to vote against funding it. The same useless bastard who went to the Midwest and claimed he was for Conservative values and how he believes life begins at conception, and somehow is able to keep a straight face when he said one week later that he supports the right to choose!

Yup..... It was a great night for the Dems, as well as a great night for our enemies

Isn't it funny how the media picks OUR spokesmen.

The "media" is picking everything, including presidents.

It could be said that the "media" may be the most dangerous threat to democracy and the future that we have ever faced.

The constitution protects them while they manipulate public opinion to the point of character assassination and classified info leaks to our enemies.

They have far too much influence and cannot be controlled. In fact, most would say that they should not be controlled or sanctioned.

The problem is, that is the U.S., the media can publish lies and distortions without any recourse except from the public.

Unfortunately, the public can do little except get an occasional retraction that is placed on page 25, or in the electronic media's case, nothing!

The "media" has only it's own moral compass to guide it, and it has little or no moral compass to speak of.

In the end, the "media" may well destroy the very thing it was intended to protect.

He was once an outspoken conservative voice on the floor of the House. I had high hopes he would continue to support the cause after his political career.

I can see that time has passed.

The good news is that very few people watch MSNBC and half of their audience is made up masochist conservatives who like to watch the liberal MSNBC just to get angry and torture themselves with agony.

Spot, the hell, on.

The thing about USA today, is that it is placed by the door of nearly every hotel and motel room in the US every morning.

I am sure that Ann is P'Od about it.

But like she said, it comes with the conservative territory in the media world these days.

"I would feel safe going to bed at night with John Kerry..."

Maybe there's an innocent explanation. Maybe pMSNBC hired David "Don't I Look Darling in Black Turtlenecks" Hackworth as a writer.

He has been known to publically joke about an affair with one of his staffers. Curiously enough, that staffer is dead (no conspiracy theories though, it appeared to be an accident). I remember reading an Atlantic Monthly article that mentioned this a month or so ago.
