Can't tell you how many times I have been burned because people use STUPID keywords.
Exaggerating a little...(but not by much)...an Ann Coulter post would have "ANNIE, BABEALICIOUS, etc."
If your post is about "COULTER," use "COULTER," fer cryin' out loud!!!! If it's about Michael Moore, use "MOORE," however you might be tempted to use "FAT COMMIE PIG!!!"

One legitimate problem is the news sites change titles. That will happen, a poster in good faith searches, doesn't see the thread, posts an article, and it's an exact duplicate of another thread posted an hour or so before. Sometimes, depending upon the popularity of the subject, we will let it go because we know others will search for that title.

Another reason why I don't mind multiple thread postings is that it brings topics to light that i may not have even thought to discuss..... anyway- I'm sure this is the bazillionth time this was mentioned.

On FR's home page search function on the left sidebar I have been able to use keywords for a search (I think)
