"Michael Wagner" is a black Muslim convert who was pulled over by an Iowa State Trooper for not wearing a seatbelt. No doubt the professional grievance-mongers are rushing to provide their pro bono services to an innocent man wrongfully profiled by racist cops. Never mind what was in his car:
A 9mm pistol Three bulletproof vests
Hundreds of rounds of ammunition
A flight simulator and a bag of flight manuals dating to 2001
A 5-foot telescope hooked to camera equipment
Night-vision goggles and a night-vision rifle scope found in a hollowed-out computer
Books written in Arabic, including the Koran, along with hundreds of pages printed from the Internet on the Iraq war and terrorism
Just as Customs agent Diana Dean pulled over Ahmed Ressam for acting nervously and conducted a vehicle search that saved untold lives by averting the Los Angeles millenium bomb plot, Iowa State Trooper Kenneth Haas decided to search Wagner's vehicle during a routine traffic stop because Wagner repeatedly gave a false name, couldn't produce an identification card, and showed signs of nervousness.
Wagner reportedly told a federal agent about "a man in San Diego who he said wanted him to shoot at trolleys there...Wagner also told the agent "he knew of activities and people involved in al-Qaida and Taliban."
Better keep an eye on this story.

TERRORISM SOLUTION
Islam is NOT a religion – it is a CULT OF HATE.
Islam is an organization dominated by criminally minded thug-killer males who kill those who disagree with them or will not convert to their ideology. These men enslave and brutally abuse women and indoctrinate children with violent and hateful beliefs. They are intent on world domination by any means at their disposal, including bloody acts of terrorism and violent invasion. These demented men are under the delusion that they will receive 72 virgins as a reward for killing Jews and Christians.
Several steps are necessary to save America from the pending violence and tyranny of islam:
1) Congress to declare islam is NOT a religion, but instead a cult-of-hate functioning as an organized crime and terrorist association seeking to kill infidels (i.e.. Jews and Christians) and to impose islamic law on the world;
2) Congress to ban the practice of islam in the US, state legislatures to follow with similar state laws;
3) President to declare martial law (in response to certain-to-come terrorist attacks in US -- which was founded on Judeo/Christian principles) and suspend the constitution to enact these measures, in order to save this country;
4) Muslim schools shall be closed, because muslim schools teach children the violent tenants of islam (with no regard to reading, writing or computing) and such teaching amounts to child abuse,
5) Muslim parents, because of their beliefs, deemed unqualified to raise children (see TIME Magazine story, July 26, 2004, for further examples of muslim fathers/males who order their sons/brothers to kill sisters or mothers if they suspect their infidelity,) hence, child welfare agencies to remove children from muslim homes and place them in Jewish and Christian foster homes;
6) Adult muslims get 30 days to renounce islam and convert to a peaceful religion, or be immediately deported to a muslim country. If they renounce islam and stay, they shall enter a cult de-programming therapy program for 3-5 years. Those in this country illegally shall be deported immediately;
7) Immediately halt immigration from all islamic countries (except for persecuted Christians and Jews.) Deny immigration or entry to any muslim individual.

Yes, I know my ideas may be considered way out. Some of the steps may not even square up with the constitution. Nonetheless, they are, if implimented, a solution to the issue of terrorism. Floating around the FR is a statement I find intriguing: "The constitution is not a suicide pact" which I think leads one to the next logical level of thinking. If certain parts of the constitution keep us from maintaing national security, they must be addressed. In some areas, I even think that the constitution needs to be changed -- for example, voting should be denied to those on social welfare support programs -- but, that's not directly related to national security unless one believes the democrats are a security risk (as I do.) Our founders could not have concieved of such threats to our country as we face from uncontrolled immigration and the threat from islam. We must take dramatic steps to protect our country.
That I'm afraid is not going to happen till we get hit really, really bad!

Uh, maybe you saw something written that I didn't, I thought his point was an unprotected border, be it south or north, is a perfect entry point for terrorists. Just saying Mexican border, doesn't mean that it would have to be a Mexican, anymore than, Canadian border, has to mean a Candian. As far as a Matricula card, how hard are they to obtain? I would imagine, not hard at all.

Of the 250 admitted illegal entries how many came through Mexico? Can you believe anything she said? If she said she came in from the South I would immediately assume she actually entered from the North.

Most came here legally during the late 90's and also tried the Canadian border. Also you seem to have ignored the home grown johnny jihads and decided to focus all your concerns towards the southern border and considering the facts, that is uninformed, IMO.
My view is that the Northern border is much more of a threat.

IMO the first step is for the President of the United States to make a speech saying enough is enough and that he will enforce our laws. Without that those down the line from enforcers to illegal crossers think that the US wants them here and will do little more than a token effort to secure the borders. Talk tough to Vicente Fox, don't talk of amnesty and guest worker programs until this terrorist threat is eliminated. That's where the govenment needs to start, by making the decision that enough is enough and our security is worth more than "cheap" labor.
I want to see the Feds lean on these RATrun cities and tell them flat out "No cooperation no more federal funds." If they can do it to force states to comply with seat belt laws and speed limits they can do it wrt National Security issues.
I was under the impression that "lily whites" would be white rather than "swarthy" or "black" because either of the latter would be more likely to be profiled as Muslim or Black Muslim.
I know I've been surprised over the years at the number of Black Muslims I've run into and no longer jump to the conclusion that a black person is "probably" a Christian,as I would in my younger days.
