Did anybody see this? I believe he was pretty specific about "the vets who served on the swift boat with him", so let's not count fellow commanders from other boats or anything like that. He claimed every vet who was still alive who served with Kerry on a swift boat would be on stage supporting him tonight.
From what I've heard, this should be -easily- refutable. And the transcript showing the blatant lie on CNN shouldn't be impossible to get a hold of, I'd assume all convention coverage will have transcripts eventually. Can we nail this vet as the blatant partisan liar he appears to be?

A Kerry operative lying?
C'mon, who ever heard of something like that happening?
Why is so little being made of the fact that Kerry re-enacted his swift boat exploits for the camera? That seems a bit psychotic. I'm not sure I want this guy having access to the nuke codes.
If he said it, it must be true. One of Kerry's gunners said that on more than one occasion Kerry ran from a fight.
Mental patients claim they're Superman, too.
Now, leave me alone, I am Nepoleon.
BTW did you know hanoi john hasn't taken the time to do a photo op visit to our Troops at Walter Reed. Because if he had we'd have seen photos of it. Unlike GW who visits with no photo op.
Four!
And pigs will be flying out all of their a**es.
Band of Buggout Artists? Kerry's just cashing in his 37 year old chips.
"Kerry's early departure meant that he was leaving behind a crew that had suffered through many bloody battles with him. Worried that crew members would be killed, he arranged for them to receive a safer assignment. When one crew member, Medeiros, tried to stay, Kerry "came and talked to me and said, `I really would like you to go. ... I'd like to know you are safe, or safer."

Gee they served together for all of 3 months.
But that's just it. THIS time, they -didn't- say "some". They said ALL. I am absolutely positive he made a big deal that they would ALL be up there.
That's why I started this thread. As long as they couched it as "some", then they could get away with 4 out of 23, or whatever. But if he clamed -all-, and we can demonstrate something along the lines that "all" = "maybe ten percent, at best", well, let's just say I could -bury- some liberals with that, and I bet we all could. Why? Cause not only would it give a vehicle to get it out there that many vets are against Kerry, but the few that -are- with him lie even more than he does!

Who knows the motivations of these people who Kerry uses as props. It is important to note that his swift boat peers and superiors who served with him are almost unanimously against him. O'Neill's book, Unfit to Command, will be released in September to set the record straight.
Well, if they can't all be there tonight maybe they can all get together some other time to "reenact" the scene.
Can you spell M-O-N-E-Y or J-O-B???
What a bunch of crap. Kerry has his crew except the twin 50 gunner on his campaign payroll.
I think you are confusing the picture of Kerry with his fellow Swift Boat officers (only 2 support him) and the enlisted crews who served with Kerry on the two boats he commanded. Each PCF crew consists of five enlisted and an officer. Hence only 10 or so enlisted could have served directly under Kerry during his 4+ months. Some crew members were rotated among the boats as well as normal tour rotations.
C'mon, who ever heard of something like that happening?
I agree that only crass personal reasons could make anyone with any self-respect associate themselves with that POS. Kerry has used them as props throughout his political career. As a Vietnam veteran myself, I find it hard to believe that Kerry maintains such close ties to guys he served with for 3 months of less unless they are being paid off somehow. Something is very odd about all of this.
I have a few of the ABB crowd at work and they have said time and again that they'd vote for Hitler over Bush! All they care about is getting Bush out of office. If the Islamofascists pop a nuke in NYC the day of sKerry's inauguration...they could care less! They got rid of Bush! A very scary mode of thinking to say the least.
