If you watch the first part of the speech where he gave that dumb salute he sounds almost drunk or drugged.

I'm pushing the meme that he looked and sounded like an old lush saluting his wife when she catches him sneaking in late.

I had an uncle that would salute anyyone who told him to pipe down when he was lit.

What "conservative" buttons did he hit?

He used lines from Reagan, Bush, and Cheney in his speech! He is a piece of work, almost as good a liar as Clinton. But just almost. He needn't worry, the media will make sure he is the portrayed as the second coming, while Bush will be stupid, mean, and a liar.

Kerry creates such a big image for himself he runs into it... That would explain the flattened face though

At times Kerry sounded a bit like Reagan and a bit like Bush43. The fact is, Kerry is neither Reagan or Bush43.

"Kerry is Slick Willie without the Slick."

Nah, he's Slick Willie without the Willie. Remember, he had prostate surgery.

LOL Yes he did. What I noticed most however was how strained and phony the entire convention was. They didn't pull off the "middle of the road" position. It was obviously an act all the way thru. I don't think it will be lost on the American people.

When are politicians going to realize that we're alot more sophisticated than they think we are? We probably know more about the issues than they do. They can't fool us anymore..we're not drinking the koolaid. Time for reform of positions, honesty and backbone. Time for integrity. Time to stop the PC bs.

Equal parts Dean, Reagan, Cheney, and Bush with some Kerry gloss thrown in.

Yup, he said everything.

And it all disagrees with his Liberal record of little accomplishment.

Thus proving he is indeed the flip-flopping say-anything do-nothing politician that the Bush campaign says he is.

You know what will be painful to watch?

if the republicans move so far left they end up having a convention that looks more liberal than the Democrats.

At least dont bring on the black eyed peas.
