I hunt and I fish but I do not participate in animal cruelty of any sort.

Fishing seems sort of traumatic though. Imagine reaching for your Big Mac and as you take a bite you get yanked through the roof at McDonalds. Horrifying. I will no longer fish.

Animal cruelty brings out a violent streak in me.I know meat does'nt come pre-wrapped on styrofoam, but to intentionally inflict pain is just plain sick.I used to hunt and fish quite a lot, not so much now.

I only hunt til the freezer is full. I don't shoot game if I can't make a clean kill. I don't kill it if I can't eat it. Venison is much healthier than beef.

As of a few minutes ago, I no longer fish because it is too traumatic.

I've only hunted wild pigs.They're pretty scary.And fast.Good rules(Hunt til freezers full,clean kill only,no kill/no eat)Rational and kind.A friend of mine's den is full of taxidermy victims,but no deer chops in the deepfreeze. He said he traded the meat for the mounting.I told him he was an idiot.

If what you consider to be a life includes strapping explosives on small animals, then I'll pass, thanks.

All decent people are upset when such cruelty happens. There is an enormous difference between killing animals for food, as your exemplar did, or as I do when I hunt, and killing an animal with explosives just because you can.

If you cannot see that difference, please stay as far as possible away from me and my family...for your own well-being.

When there is a doe day I prefer them. They have a little more fat than the males. I do have a pair of 10 pointers hanging on the den wall. They were delicious.
