I'm sorry if this has already been posted somewhere else, but I havent' seen it anywhere on the site and wanted to share it. It was passed to me by my girlfriend and it's certainly full of interesting points. Enjoy.
*_* Subject: I'm Confused!
I was comparing the last two regimes in America and I'm confused! Perhaps you can help me out and perhaps make some sense out of all this...?
Let's see...
Clinton awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Yugoslavia - good... Bush awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Iraq - bad...
Clinton spends 77 billion on war in Serbia - good... Bush spends 87 billion in Iraq - bad...
Clinton imposes regime change in Serbia - good... Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad...
Clinton bombs Christian Serbs on behalf of Muslim Albanian terrorists - good... (I still haven't figured that one out) Bush liberates 25 million from a genocidal dictator - bad...
Clinton bombs Chinese embassy - good... Bush bombs terrorist camps - bad...
Clinton commits felonies while in office - good... Bush lands on aircraft carrier in jumpsuit - bad...
Clinton says "mass graves" in Serbia - good... Entire world (including democrats!) says WMD in Iraq - bad...
No "mass graves" found in Serbia - good... No WMD found Iraq - bad...
Stock market crashes in 2000 under Clinton - good... People seem to forget this one). Recession under Bush because of Clinton crash - bad...
Clinton refuses to take custody of Bin Laden - good... World Trade Centers fall under Bush - bad...
Clinton says Saddam has nukes - good... Bush says Saddam has nukes - bad...
Clinton calls for regime change in Iraq - good... Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad...
Terrorist training in Afghanistan under Clinton - good.. Bush destroys training camps in Afghanistan - bad...
Milosevic not yet convicted and still in endless court proceedings- good... Saddam in custody with promise of a short trial - bad...
Ah, it's so confusing! (Or is it?)
You should send this to a newspaper
The Rapist, Liar in Chief brags about his speaking engagements, (payoffs for pardons?), and the DIMS are silent about the apparant hip pocket crazy FLOTUS!
I think it's been here before, but good reruns are always welcome as far as I'm concerned...
I like it.
LOL! I posted this last week. It was a letter to the editor in the July 24th edition of my local paper the "Killeen (TX) Daily Herald". I thought the writer, Ed Coet, made some excellent points and I loved his "befuddled" tone. My favorite part was Bush in a jumpsuit--bad. Funny.
I'm sure Mr. Coet would be tickled to know that someone liked his letter enough to post it again (not that I asked his permission to post the first time, mind you! I hope that's okay.). Thanks for recycling it; it's a good one.
BTW, the original title was "What's Good, What's Bad? It Depends On Whose In Office" in case you want to find it and read the comments. I'd link you to it if I knew how. Sadly, I have very few computer skills. ;-)
Sorry! That last comment was meant for HushTX. See, I told you I have very few computer skills! ;-)
However this has been all over the internet in the past couple of months, emails/blogs/forums, etc.... Note Google
thanks for the link. I didn't know if it had been shared yet or not, and thought it was worth reposting anyway.
Nothing wrong with what you did.... I was just posting the link for the other poster who didn't know how to find it....
It's an interesting comparison and shows that it depends upon your point of view as to how things are perceived....
Well that plagiarizing RAT!!
Well that plagiarizing RAT!!
He didn't credit anyone else with making those points. He's retired military himself, and he finds the time to write A LOT of letters to our paper's editor. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he truly authored this one, too. But as you said, who knows?! ;-)
Something I found out yesterday - watching C-Span, in which it was revealed why the Dems always harping on Haliburton. He said, that the only competitor to Haliburton is a company in France - and to my surprise - guess who is on the board of that french company - JAMIE GORELICK!
Now - we all understand why the DEMS are so mad, they wanted this french co. and Gorelick to get the contract!
Good post
