The media’s systematic lying about news it doesn’t like

The major liberal media continue their career of shameless, in-your-face lies. Here’s the headline of a CNN story about the election campaign:

Poll: No ‘bounce’ for Kerry so far Bush and Democratic nominee still running neck and neck

But several paragraphs into the story it says:

The registered voters surveyed favored Kerry over Bush 50-47, a slight change from 49-45 found in a similar poll conducted two weeks ago. The likely voters polled favored Bush 50-47, whereas two weeks earlier they had favored Kerry 49-47.

Among all registered voters, Kerry’s lead actually dropped by one point after the convention, and among likely voters, a far more important demographic, Bush went from being two points behind Kerry to being three points ahead of Kerry. So, it was the Republican candidate who got a bounce, a five point bounce, as a result of the Democratic convention, an unheard of event. Yet instead of reporting this in their headline, CNN merely says that Kerry hasn’t gotten a bounce “so far,” thus leading the reader to believe that a Kerry bounce is still expected. The liberal media now even put their wishful thoughts into their headlines when the facts go against their desires.

The Bush jump in the polls immediately following his opponent’s nomination, combined with CNN’s non-reporting of that remarkable fact in their headline, would be comparable to a man biting a dog, and CNN’s headline saying: “Dog has not bitten man, so far.” If it wasn’t a matter of our civilization going downhill and taking us with it, we could just sit back observing these manifestations of liberals and see it as the most amazing show on earth.

The "mainstream newsmedia" has become a propaganda machine.

In fact, it is the most relentless, ubiquitous, ruthless propaganda machine in history, shameless, audacious, and sometimes subtle.

Between now and the November election, the propaganda is going to intensify. Whether or not it will overwhelm the electorate depends upon the steadfastness of the American people.

If Americans can withstand this constant barrage of propaganda and remain faithful to truth, the United States is truly healthy, strong, and still ascendant and will continue to bring the American Dream--liberty, justice, and prosperity for all people--to the world.

Americans must remain steadfast. The fate of the world depends upon it.

The rats can overcome a 5 point Bush lead easily with voter fraud.

I cannot remember now just who, I think it was someone on FOX, perhaps O'Riley, showed the shameless bias of the New York Times from Sunday where Bush bashing was in every section except one, which I believe was the "Style" section. My opinion is that the NY Times does not really care about circulation..They want a communist state where they believe they would share in the ruthless power. The first thing they would do is jail Christians and therefore, get rid of all who do not like abortion and gay marriage. If Kerry/Edwards win, this nation will experience significant suffering as they persecute small minorities of conservatives (those who make over $200,000 per year..In NYC and other major cities that will buy your family a diet of peanut butter and crackers to exist on). And, we now know that intimidators are already turning up in church congregations, taking notes on notepads during the sermon of Pastors who dare to speak out in opposition to their ideas for society (as far as I know they are not directly connected to Kerry/Edwards but obviously, share their ideas.) I believe the Attorney General has been asked to get involved in this problem. Nothing would be done about this in a Kerry/Edwards administration. Only 5 or 6 states hold 1/2 of the electoral votes and with the exception of California, they are all states in the Northeast..New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maryland, etc..Let's hope the American people maintain their sense of history and their common sense for this is the election year which will determine the fate of our great nation. My husband who is a cancer survivor has to undergo a colonoscopy today but he is more concerned for our country than for his own state of health..He is a Veteran who served during the Berlin crisis.

"They want a communist state where they believe they would share in the ruthless power."

You are absolutely correct.

This is the agenda of the American Left. Some of them admit it openly. Most do not. Most of them are not fully aware of it. Some are. Some are in denial about it.

However, as you have accurately and astutely observed, the agenda of the Left is the establishment of a Marxist state in America. Some try to soften it, for themselves or others, by insisting that it will be "socialism" or merely "a nation with a strong central government and social programs for the needy", but strip away the obfuscation, as you have done, and it is communism, nothing else.

Many of the leaders of the Left are well aware of this. They cynically intend to do exactly as you have said: establish a totalitarian state in which they will "share in the ruthless power."

Others, most in fact, are the followers. They tend to be blinded by denial or stupidity and the dupes of their leaders.

These people ignore the lessons of history. Marxism has failed everywhere it has been tried, with disastrous results.

Even today, in China it has evolved into a capitalist oligarchy, and in Europe it has degenerated into failing, decadent nations, drifting inexorably toward Muslim domination and reassignment as Islamic theocracies.

"This is the election year which will determine the fate of our great nation."

Yes. It is. The fate of our great nation and the fate of the world. This is the most important American presidential election since 1865, perhaps the most important in history.

"Let's hope the American people maintain their sense of history and their common sense."

Yes. The fate of the word depends upon it.

Now more than every before, the world needs clear, resolute, and benevolent leadership. Only the United States can provide it. The America people carry a very heavy burdon. They can rise to the challenge. And they must.

My prayers are with your husband.

The media is taking these polls in the major metropolitan areas ONLY. These cities are Democratic strongholds where historically people have allowed their votes and allegiances to be bought for social programs. The telling fact is that even taking these polls in areas to attempt to portray Kerry to be more strongly favored the polls show a close race. Expect a landslide, have faith in the people, but do NOT pull a punch, each one of us is a campaigner, defend our nation this election.
