Thank you for asking your husband for his professional opinion. Several years ago a young co-worker was raped in her apartment. She wasn't beaten just overpowered and overwhelmed. She never returned to the apartment again, several friends went over and packed everything up for her. She moved back to her parents home and spent about a yr in counseling for frigidity.

To be fair, your co-worker was likely raped
and brutalized by a stranger as were the majority
of husband's patients.
In the case of this pitiful and dangerous young woman,
"date rape" would be a more accurate description, provided
that a rape actually took place, which the evidence seems
to refute.
IOW's --- maybe a date rape victim might seek solace
between the sheets right away with another man. :)

My young friend/coworker was awakend by a man standing by her bed. The room was very dark and she was not able to get a look at him so she couldn't give the police a description except that he was black. He threatened to kill her if she fought him or called the police and he pressed a gun to her face.

The most sensational of the LA serial killers has been caught as was a second, unrelated serial killer. Both of them assaulted and brutally murdered multiple victims. As astonishing as it may seem, they believe there is at least one more still operating in South LA. Posdsibly 2.
