38 years? Are you serious? We treat our soldiers more harshly than criminals in the US. Recently a man who raped a 12 year old girl got 60 days in jail (no doubt from a liberal judge). She is not innocent but 38 years?

I agree. people like Mr. Hacking will get less time for the crimes he committed against his wife.
Normally it would not be fair for her to receive the full punishment. We have to be harsh with her, though, because what she did caused so much damage. It humiliated the U.S. in the eyes of the world. Even worse, it provided fodder for the Dems/Commies/media to berate President Bush and to deflect attention away from important things. Panties on a terrorist's head is NOT important, and I personally think they should do things a thousand times worse to get information, but it was there for the bad guys to grab hold of, and she helped put it there.
